My wife and I happend upon this place recently and were blown away with the quality and style of the items we found here. Although Marble, Arkansas is barely a wide spot in the road, this shop is on par with anything you might find in a major metropolitan area. Marble Gypsy carries beautifully restored furniture(much of it hand painted by the shop’s owner), ceramic sculpture, antiques, native products made by local artisans, jewelry, and much more. It is the perfect combination of rustic revival, shabby chic, and creative combinations of styles, colors, and genres. We had a really nice visit with proprietor and resident artist Rebekah Riley. She is a transplant from the Houston area with family roots in the hills of NW Arkansas. She lives with her tribe on a nearby farm and totally gets the«keeping it real» and«keeping it simple» lifestyle. Hers just happens to include cows and numerous other animals from what we gathered. If you have an interest in upgrading the look of your home and your tastes run toward the unique or even quirkier side of things, we highly recommend Marble Gypsy.
