Huntington’s One Stop

I go there for an egg, sausage and cheese on a roll every two weeks or so. Great sandwich!
Also, their Boars Head cold cuts are top notch and reasonably priced.
Friendly, efficient staff tops it off!

First off let me state… I literally created this account so I can tell the world how horrible this deli is and to take the time and drive far away from this disappointment. I moved to Huntington not to long ago and always go to Woodbury deli on Woodbury rd which is 5star hands down always! So this is what Happen my god daughter was born heathy and perfect 2 days ago and this morning I’m heading up Huntington hospital because my brother and his wife asked me to pick up egg sandwiches. So when you go into this horrible deli which is on the way to the hospital, you walk in and on the counter is one of those pieces of paper that you circle everything you want for your choice of breakfast meal. It’s idiot proof…2 eggs, whites only, turkey, pepper you know normal choices… I found this perfect because her being a new mother she told me exactly what she wanted lol. Then I got 2 more sandwiches for my brother and I. They managed to horrible mess up everything. My sister in law is allergic to some of the things that were on her sand which… but then we realized that everything was jacked up from eggs being cold to all 3 sandwiches being completely wrong… now understand my frustration so then I call and speak to the manger some female I didn’t get her name. I explained how messed up a food was and she literally said «what do you want me to do about it» I was enraged about how unapologetic and cold she was… I’m not sure if it’s just the 16 year old idiots working the grill or she’s the Sunday morning boss who incompetent and untrustworthy to run the busy week schedule but you don’t treat paying customers like that. If I could give this place a ZERO they still wouldn’t deserve it DO NOT WASTE YOUR
MONEY HERE! I mean your better off going to
McDonalds and getting breakfast seriously! Not
To mention as you walk around the deli you can help to notice the large amount of dead bugs kicked in the corners and they extremely young staff of under paid employees. I spent 4 years active duty in the Marine Corp and I’d rather eat the Vegetable MRE then ever eat at this place again!

Not bad, sometimes the wait is just ridiculous during lunch time. I think it was almost 15 min to get my sandwich. I have to say they are over priced. I never walk out of there without spending over $ 10 for a sandwich and side whether it’s a drink or bag of chips. They charge extra for cheese lettuce tomato mayo. Not cheap. Lunch specials I guess are the only time it’s worth it.

I used to come to one stop very regularly for breakfast or lunch in high school. Now I live in the city and don’t get out here much. When I do visit, I make sure to stop by. Recently I’ve been really disappointed with the egg sandwiches. I’ve been coming mid week, during slower hours, and rarely do they get my sandwich right. Over easy does not mean fried! I understand messing this up once or twice, but it was four times this week. You can’t say I didn’t give them a chance. I’ll take my business over to bay deli.

ONE STOP = LAST STOP
I have been going to this place for 15+ years (since high school) and very regularly at that. It pains me to post this — but I had the single most horrendous experience in a Huntington business EVER here and need to share it.
My boyfriend and I park at one-​stop in Huntington so he can get a sandwich. He walks in and I proceed to walk down the block to another store.
An employee paving the lot starts yelling at me as I’m walking away, telling me I can’t park in the lot because it’s a private lot. I’m confused, because a) I know the parking lot is for customers only, and most importantly b) my boyfriend was in the store ordering food — he was, at the time, an active customer.
The employee keeps yelling, VERY OBNOXIOUSLY, until I realize that he thinks I parked there alone to go somewhere else — not seeing that the other occupant of the car went into one-​stop.
After a minute of being heckled by this man (yes, heckled) AND IN FRONT OF PEOPLE no less — I explained that my boyfriend is inside ordering a sandwich. I also mention that we live nearby and both have been going there for years. Despite this — this man does not EVEN apologize for the mix-​up.
At that point, I added that this situation was so off-​putting, I will think twice about going there again. He then proceeds to tell me that both my boyfriend and I are not welcome there anymore. When I went in the store to inform my boyfriend that we had essentially been BANNED (reminder: 2 people who go there nearly every day) — the man continued to yell, IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. I never even had a shot at trying to speak with a manager on this.
So disappointing because we loved that place. Quick and easy and everyone (minus this person) was always very friendly.
So Huntington one-​stop, I have been going to you since high school and very regularly at that.
You have now lost 2 loyal customers because one employee rudely ran his mouth without thinking– and did not even apologize after the fact.
And on that note — since we are BANNED from this place (and humiliated to boot) I have no way of voicing my concerns to the owner/​management.
If a manager from One Stop happens to read this– I would love to speak with him/​her. It would be the decent thing to do as a business owner to former-​regular patrons — to issue an apology.
Because this was DISGRACEFUL.

A Huntington legend! Open 24 hours with full deli service, coffee, beer… Boars
Head meat so you know the quality is on point. Solid egg sandwiches. A little expensive, but hey, someone has to pay to keep the lights on 24 hours a day. I mean, I believe they are even open on Christmas!

The best bacon, egg, cheese I’ve ever had. Was within walking distance to my apartment and would go all the time.
Everything they prepare was always fresh.
When I come to the island for a visit, I usually make a trip out there for a sandwich or two.

I love one stop. One stop has a relatively friendly staff. One stop is open 24 hours which has saved me a couple of times. They have a great selection of Gatorade and bubble gum. You can get entemans 24 hour which is great for a last minute bake sale coverup. They have lots of different ice creams and many bare necessities. I go on a weekly basis.

Wowwwwwweeeeeee! This sandwich is unbelievable! I just smoked a doob but regardless of that its fantastic! My friend here also gave it 5 stars! Great late night sandwiches dead ass and amazing pickles and Patato salad! We love you one stop

Nice convenience store in the heart of Huntington Village. came here on a beer run. They have quite the selection of craft brews. I went with the Blue Point toasted Lager. Ample parking lot. Well lit and clean store. Helpful employees. A bit pricey for the beer, but open 24 hours!

Huntington wouldn’t survive without them, I am convinced. I wish I knew about them years ago, when I used to party here. I thought pizza was the only late night option. Now that I live here, I discovered it.

I love 1 Stop.
If it was not for them there would be a lot of late nights that I would go to sleep craving a sandwich.
The cold cuts are fresh, and their chip and drink selection is awesome!!!
The best part is the fact that they have a parking lot!
AWESOME!!!

I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the ocean of turds that swarm around there on the weekends. they have everything, and they will slice you up some good meat at 4 am if you so please. the guys working there put up with alot, and for that i commend them. but –2 stars for the sh-​tbags who show up there after drinking in town.

One Stop. Your 24-​hour goodness has saved me from so, so many hangovers. You have curbed many a high friend’s munchies.
Smart water. Vitamin water. Gallons of Poland Spring. Delicious egg sandwiches. You’re never stingy with your tomato on my grilled cheese. You have four different types of Milano cookies. Why? I don’t know either, but thank you.
Thank you for your selection of periodicals. NYT, WSJ, Financial Times and their poor little brothers, The NY Post and Newsday; the gangs all here. Plus, I didn’t know there were so many trashy magazines. I’ll never buy them, but that you for catering to such a broad demographic.
You keep doing what you’re doing, One Stop and you will keep being my convenience store of choice on Long Island.
