Funk and Swagger Antiques

If I said I was a huge fan of antique stores I would not be truthful. My girlfriend loves to stop in everyone that she sees. This particular store is different. I don’t know if it’s the uniqueness of the items that are displayed for sale or the owner, Mikes awesome personality, honesty and patience. He doesn’t just sell items he refinished them when required and has a rare compassion for his work that is more and more difficult to find in this day in age. When we purchase something from here I honestly feel like we adopted a unique item and even after it has left the store the sellers compassion for it is not at all lost. This is actually the only antique store that I truly enjoy visiting as well as purchasing from. It gets my highest recommendation.

We purchased 2 chairs from this shop. Mike, the owner, knew the historical builder facts in detail (person who made them, their place in history, location, etc)). After we purchased them, he worked with my husband to find a delivery date.
We are considering having some custom wood/​glass work done by him. His work is very impressive. Highly recommend.
