Papa John’s Pizza

I called to order a pizza to the city of bell on Saturday night at about 1145pm. I was told that delivery was closed due to limited staffing or something, they also mentioned they closed at 1am??? For a corporate business that advertise on public television to suddenly become a «mom and pop» shop at night is pretty funny. Papa johns always seems a bit inconsistent.

I ordered the works special pizza from here with no olives or mushrooms but they still gave me these ingredients I didn’t want, after a 5 minute call back they confirmed it was their fault and let me keep the other pizza plus the new one. I really like how they handled the situation. I was gna try and take off the unwanted ingredients my self but they where underneath the chess.

As far as carry out goes this location is the BEST! Absolutely perfect service here, ordered on the app so I get all my deals and points then easily picked it up feom the fast friendly staff here. Order was made fresh and correct as always! I am actually located closer to the long beach blvd location and could get delivery but that location sucks bad… no joke.
Now back to this location. Never had a issue in all the years ive ordered from here and this is a updated review just because I wanted to give them more props :-) ⁵⁄₅ team! I always get half & half and well done, and they have never once messed it up!

A couple weeks ago my gf and I had ordered pizza from here… It took an hour and a half to get here… We literally live no more then 5 mins away… We called to ask where’s our pizza and the manager had said oh she apologizes and next pizza is on the house we said cool thanks… We called today and Manny refused to give us our free pizza because there’s no record of it… Maybe you guys should actually work over there and put your customer first! Never ordering from these lying jerks again…

They really use all fresh ingredients! You cannot only see it but TASTE the difference between those other pizza joints!!!
#1 Mushrooms
They use baby portabella mushrooms (mushrooms may not be a big deal to you but to me they are!!! I am vegetarian so I’m very picky when it comes down to vegetables!!!) plus portabella add a different much earthy flavor to pizzas! (all other pizza places like Pizza Hut, Dominos Pizza, Little Cesar’s ALL USE WHITE MUSHROOMS!!! Which are a cheaper quality!
#2 Layers
The way they layer on ingredients, regular pizza places usually do sauce, cheese, toppings and bake… Papa John does sauce, ingredients, cheese and bake!!! Ahhhhh I just LOVE THIS ABOUT THEM!!!
#3 Garlic Butter
For starters no other pizza places give you a «FREE» Dipping Sauce with your pizza! Which Papa John ALWAYS does! (If they don’t, feel free to request it) I LOVE their Garlic Butter!!! I’ve had various other galic butters and all are GREASY and too bland! Unlike Papa John’s their Garlic Butter is Creamy, and RICH IN FLAVOR!!!
#4Canadian Bacon!
My husband loves their Hawaiian Pizza!!! The reason why this Hawaiian pizza is so different, because of their Canadian bacon!!! The pieces are nicely cut and flavorful!

Over all I LOVE PAPA JOHN’S Pizza!!! I don’t ever mind spending my money on this Pizza Chain! Also, when you go to this location it’s ANY LARGE PIZZA for $ 11.00 when you try to order online they do not have that deal :/

Horrible customer service. The people have horrendous attitudes and don’t even offer red pepper and cheese, the easiest part of giving customer pizza! I have been there twice on separate occasions and both times have I left with a bad experience. The pizza is good, it’s just the people there have no courtesy, no greetings, no thank yous, not any care whatsoever.
Thankfully the new store just opened in Lynwood so I will never go back to this place.

This pizza place is actually good. The pizza tastes different from other competitors and therefore I do think they have some kind of proprietary ingredient. I love to get their large carry out special. Customer service is not the best, except maybe one female employee that works there, last time I went she provided excellent customer service and acknowledged me as a customer. I’ll still buy pizza from this place once in a while when I crave it. I’ve never had issues with time, maybe because I always do carry out. Aside from all mentioned above, I’d recommend this place if you want to try something different that actually tastes good.

I ordered a pizza for delivery at around 11:37 (time that I received the email confirmation) the confirmation said that I would receive my order in 30 – 40 minutes. It is currently 12:55 and I have yet to receive my pizza! I called the store after 45 minutes of waiting and the woman that answered the phone said that the driver was already on his way. I called again after an hour and the same woman informed me that the delivery time was around 45 – 55 minutes (which is not what was stated in the email), so needless to say I was not pleased when I heard this. At this point, 80 minutes later I am absolutely irate as I only have an hour for lunch and I still don’t have my food. This is absolutely HORRIBLE customer service as I do not care how busy a store is if I order food for delivery I expect it in a reasonable amount of time. I had to cancel this order after paying for it on my debit card as I have a 1:00 meeting, it’s always fun to go to 2 back-​to-​back hour long meetings without having had any food all day!!!

Pretty clean establishment. Service is friendly. Pizza is made fresh to order. Not really the place to dine in just take out.
Papa John’s has interesting ingredients, which provides an interesting taste. There’s something off about that tomato sauce. Not the best, not the worst. The best thing are the cheesticks with garlic butter and/​or cheese sauce.yum.
The Six Cheese pizza was pretty flavorless for all that cheese.
