All the advertising mames you believe that the food is going to be good.. But in reality the food isn’t great. I went twice and both the times i was left unsatisfied. First i got the totas ahogadas. i was disappointed. The bread tasted a bit stale and it was poorly presented.
After the second time i ordered carne en su jugo and i must say that it looked like meat soaked in water. No flavor.. And no seasonibg whatsoever. I really disliked it. Preferred that terriyaki place rightnextdoor over this food anytime!

My review, first the tacos de frijoles tasted old, the torta needed more beans the hit sauce was like home made tapatio. Not what I was expecting, they never Zane to check lid everything was ok or nothing. If all the foo is the same won’t be back.

now this place is legit for tortas ahogadas and any other torta their tacos de papa are bomb everything on the menu is delicious and authentic affering liquados mexican style… very gd place to eat and not to expensive but sadly the place closed down and I don’t understand why if they had a gd business going. I really hope they open again because I haven’t found another gd place for tortas this place was legit hands down!

Best tortas ahogadas, hands down. I have tried the tortas ahogadas at a few other locations, including at La Chiva Loca, and these take the gold. I think the bread may be what makes these tortas special. Or the sauce? I don’t know, because they’re both awesome! The whole package, I suppose! I have also had a torta de pollo on the same bread as the torta ahogada, and that was also very yummy.
I haven’t had any other items, since we always order to go (it’s usually pretty packed, anyway), so I can’t speak as to the quality or taste of their other items, but if you are looking for una torta ahogada como las de Guadalajara, ya no busques mas! Your quest is over! :)

This place is gross and dirty. Tortas Ahogadas and poor. I actually tried more than once hoping the next meal will be better but no. I am done. Go to Chivas Locas for good Tortas Ahogadas.

This place for me is like eating at home! Traditional Mexican cooking Guadalajara, Jalisco style! The Quesadillas de pierna are the best! Tortas ahogadas are good (they used to b better before they got all that big) just b carefull they“re called ahogadas (drowned) for a reason… drowned in chile! ask for them half drowned or sauce on the side, thats if u cant handle it. The agua de fresa is kick butt! Bionicos are good but a bit over price… I mean 2 b in HP that is. it isnt exactly table service but the girls that work there are hella nice. Like i said this is like eatin in family for me. Hope u all love it, like i do.

Dam where to start! Well this is nice lil spot on HP. They service really good food from Breakfast Huevo Rancheros very big platter to Big Burritos or Big Tortas. They have bionicos which are awesome here. They serve all types of natural raspados de fruta. Their is so much here to get from you just dont know where to start. The customer service is good and attentive. The prices are also really good for ur pocket.
