St. George Pizza

I never wanted a Unilocal account til now because it’s the first time I really really want to leave a review. My wife always wanted to hit this place but I was always like“I don’t know”, finally today we stopped by and o man!!! The experience was great from the beginning, Homemade Meatballs Sub made my day … My daughter (2yr4mo) doesn’t eat much but I guess she loved the cheese Pizza, had a whole slice Thank You George!

First things first, the hospitality is on another level. I felt so welcomed not only by the lady taking my order but by all the staff. The nice lady had to leave and made sure I knew the other guys would be taking care of me. She didn’t have to say anything but it was nice that she did. I got a free cookie and piece of cake while I was waiting for my pizza. The pizzeria is in a plaza and has strong Italian feels. I got a 14″ fiesta pizza and it was roughly $ 18. They have all different sizes 12,14,16,20, and 24″. It was delicious and cooked to perfection. Recommend this place to anyone!

Ok so… Growing up in a Pizza restaurant I have become extremely picky on my pizza… So to get to the point this place doesn’t just have great pizza! But the ownership is exactly what’s missing these days in restaurants. George is Amazing his food is top notch, and he truly cares about what he’s doing and who he serves! So if your in the area and want the true value of a pizza shoppe, the quality, price, and service don’t go anywhere else and go see George!

I stopped in here recently for lunch. I had limited time because I was working that day, and was extremely happy the food came quickly. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I recommend stopping in and having a seat inside. The shop is ‘small’ but it has a distinct charm. The food was great! I ordered the two slice lunch special, it was extremely filling and well made. I will definitely be back here again. :)

I love St. George! Not because of their location near my house or their incredibly good prices and deals but because their pizza is amaaaaazing! I am a simple pepperoni pizza girl and St. George is my personal favorite place to get it at. They even give you free cake from time to time. And to top it all off their customer service is amazing! Support local businesses!

My hands down favorite pizza place in the area. Family owned, great food, excellent service. They make you feel like a part of the family with their service. Waiting for your food? Slice of cake and water. Seriously check this place out and don’t forget to grab a menu, they have a ton of great deals and specials, basically every day.
Seriously stop by if you’re ever craving pizza, I come at least 1 – 2 twice a week! You won’t regret it.

I ordered an xl 16in pizza yesterday with ham and pineapple. The woman taking the order was really friendly and helpful. The delivery driver was quick and friendly. The pizza was really good although the sauce could have been a little more flavorful. The crust was perfect not paper thin but not fluffy and doughy.

I decided to try this little hole in the wall pizzeria and all I can say is I’m thoroughly impressed. The hospitality is beyond amazing, prices are great, and food is fantastic. I’ve had a few pizzas from NY and Chicago and if you’re looking for a top replica in the HB area, St. George’s is the way to go.
Not to mention my server, Susan, was the sweetest server ever. She made sure I was well accommodated and made my meal even better.

I don’t eat pizza very often but when I order for pickup this is the place. I’ve been coming here for about 5 years and they never disappoint. Naturally I checked the Unilocal reviews first and from then on it was a pizza-​love-​affair with this establishment.
Everyone is nice, curteous and «real». The staff always greet you with a smile, George always says Hi & Thank You from the kitchen while making the pies. They don’t treat me like a customer rather they treat me like a person and if you add great food then that’s a great recipe for business success. This is a great local neighborhood pizza joint and I’m very happy to to support and give them my hard earned dollar.
One time I needed a couple pizza boxes for an April Fools joke on my tennis students. I offered to pay but George gave them to me for free. Super classy! Out of my appreciation I bought a rootbeer and tipped the waitress.
I always recommend St. Georges to my friends and they also love it. We’ve tried other local places in the past but keep coming back. Thank you St. George!

The pizza is decent. We had the NY Pizza ($ 15 for small, 6 slices). I’d say the pizza is slightly above average, 3.5÷5.
I enjoyed the pizza but I wish it was cooked a little more; I prefer my pizza crunchy and the slices to be stiff; the pizza was soft and «bendy.» Otherwise the pizza was good — the meats & cheese tasted good and it does the job. Thin crust pizza too.
The inside is a small mom & pop store and seats maybe 20 people. The service is really top notch and the workers are super friendly.

Had Philly cheese steak and wings it was alright ! But service was good ordered for delivery, it was quick and efficient. Nice portion though and fills u up !

Should have come earlier.
1. Service is amazing, personal and welcoming. George is amazing and truly made me feel that he cares about the community.
2. I had never been a meatball fan until now. The homemade meatballs on the pizza is superb. George is right; it tastes better with garlic.
3. Ratio of ingredients is perfect. There is not too much cheese, too much sauce, meat; it was perfect.
4. Pastrami is delicious.
5. Price point is great. Can’t ask for more!
I am impressed with everything here and will come back.

Yum! Seriously yummy. Went to visit the family in HB and had to get our grub on! Thank goodness for Unilocal.Searched and received the holy grail, of delivery. We ordered a pizza, medium rare burger, and some fries. It was a long wait. 1hr ½hr. But worth it! The burger was great. Juicy and cooked perfectly. The fries are my favorite kind. Thinner than steak fries but fatter than regular fries. Great taste and just delicious. Even though the burger was PHAT, the pizza was LEGIT. Nice crisp and soft dough ratio. The sauce was so full of flavor it slapped my mama in the mouth! Toppings were fresh and nummy. I enjoyed it all immensely. Will definitely be back for more and I’m bringing the whole family.

This is an amazing place. Family-​owned business and they’re just the best. Their two slice special is the best deal.

Been coming here a few times and the owners are so welcoming. Everything tastes so well, they truly take that extra step to make your meal so pleasant. Best pizza all around!

You know, I can’t say a TON about the food, but what I will say their customer service is truly exceptional. Extremely friendly, very accommodating, very welcoming, all and all a very nice experience. They gave us free cookies, and extra slice of pizza, and the waitress even ran our leftover out to the car when we forgot them on the table!
Now for the food.
The two slices of cheese pizza were well cooked. Nice and crispy crust, plenty of cheese. There was something about the flavor that didn’t jive with me though. It wasn’t bad at all, it just isn’t a reason I’d come back.
The calzone we ordered was ricotta and mozzarella cheese. Beautifully presented, tons of cheese, but again, was just lacking something. I can’t pinpoint it really.
The fried mushrooms were very good. No complaints there.
The oven roasted chicken wings were good. Large wings, very moist, cooked correctly, very tasty. My only complaint was the weird coating that was on them. Kinda a soggyish thick coating i wouldn’t expect on wings.
I’d definitely go back, but maybe not to impress anyone.

PIZZA LOVE STORY!!!
First time I tried this and I was definitely falling in love with the pizza!!! I could taste that the pizza has a great proportion of cheese and sauce. Delicious! It’s really great if you have big party because the prize $ 7.99 and the size for XL 16 inch cheese pizza with one topping couldn’t be beaten. The pizza is crispy thin crust, not like Chicago deep dish pizza. It has little to none grease.
Service: the owner himself went above and beyond to cater to our order. Appreciated!!!
This is my new favorite pizza place in Orange County area.

I have seen these guys in Unilocal as one of the best pizzas in all of HB. I have passed by her countless times in my way to the freeway or Bella Terra but it’s usually too far from home to grab a pie and go home. When my sick girl at home asked for pizza and I was in the area, well, that was excuse enough to knock off another bookmark in Unilocal file.
First off, they had a special on their XL size. Only $ 9 with two toppings. The XL is really not that big compared to other XLs but it was certainly a good deal. Service was excellent. 4 different employees asked how I was doing and were very helpful.
It must have been 120 degrees in the place this afternoon but the workers still smiled. Seriously, it was the hottest indoor place I have walked into in years. Very uncomfortable.
I was home soon enough and my little girl and I devoured the pizza. Very good crust, a tangy sauce, not too much cheese and decent toppings. My first impression is this is not as good as Pizza D’Oro or Nonna Lucci, my close to home places, but 4-​star worthy regardless. How about calling it a very good value pizza.

I was in the mood for a thin crust pizza & George’s offers a large 1 topping pizza on every Tuesday for $ 5.99. George’s is on my way home & it was my first time to patronize the restaurant.
The restaurant is a mom & pop place & is very homey. There are tables inside & outside. The «mom» welcomed me & was so sweet. She explained all of the pizza & pasta specials but was not pushy. As I was waiting for my pizza, I noticed that the owner knew her customers names by name … I luv that!
I received my pizza but by the time I got home it was just like warm. No, problem… microwaved a few slices for hubby & Il which made the pizza come back to life. The pizza was so flavor able … A definite winner. Next time, we’ll dine in! When I was leaving Mr. Greek pop came out to say hello! Now, that’s customer service u won’t get at any chain pizza establishment! 5 Stars!
