Mik did my surfing pictures one summer ago. They turned out fantastic. As any surfer knows, getting someone to take pictures for you can be a rather trying experience, but Mik was great. He was on time, he knew the break (we in Huntington Beach) and he knows the sport which lends itself to him getting pretty creative with shots. I’m glad I found him, I will definitely use him again as he did a fantastic job!

Ive never been one comfortable in from of the camera, but my wife insisted on getting engagement pics done. Having seen Munki’s work in and around Huntington Beach and his work with natural lighting, sunsets and the pier we knew he was our top choice. He knew what day and time of day would be best. He and his assistant (fiancé) are some of the most relaxed people I’ve been around, he let us set the tempo of the shoot he just followed us and gave suggestions as to backgrounds and angles. He put me at ease and was able to catch a feeling between 2 people rather than just a moment. To this day those candid pics on the beach at sunset are some of my favorite, second only to our wedding pics, which he did as well. I call him the ninja photographer, he is never pushy, he is everywhere, and he has a way of blending in. He and his assistant captured the event with impeccable balance and only until you review all his pics do you really get an understanding of his view through the lens.

Love working with Munki! I’m his fiancé, and I assist him from time to time, so of course we’ve done many shoots together. He’s great with candid shots, all I have to do is have a good time and he captures pictures more beautiful than I even realized was happening at the time. It’s not your typical scenario of posing and holding a fake smile until your cheeks shake. He captures genuine happiness, which are photos that I know I’ll cherish and enjoy looking back on for the rest of my life.

Miky and his talented assistant Beth were the photographers at my wedding. They were everywhere, getting every angle. somewhat stealth mode and highly professional. Miky has a real talent for candid photography which is my preference as well and I really couldn’t have asked for someone with a better eye for capturing all the goings on at my wedding that I had missed. It is a rather enjoyable experience to go through the proofs and see all the memories and awesome angles that he catches. I would definitely recommend Miky and his assistant to any of my friends.

I have done several shoots with Mik over the last 2 years, and have always enjoyed our time working together. whether he is shooting one of my builds or we are working together for a different client, everyone has a great time, and the shots come out incredible! i would highly recommend using his services!
he has shot 90% of the pictures on my website and i will continue to use Mik as my main photographer for all my photo needs. I should also mention, not only is he an accomplished and talented photographer, he is very easy to get along with and a thoughtful and heartfelt dude as well.

Miky is by far one of the most creative and colorful photographers I have had the pleasure of working with. His prints are edgy, sharp and vibrant. My husband and I did a pier side photo shoot in downtown Huntington Beach one evening. It was a chilly yet clear day. He captured all of the beauty of the sunset behind us and the details of the pylons, the water and the structures surrounding us. It could have been any summer night, yet we shot during the fall.
The prints were nothing like I had ever seen before. His technique is very unique and breathtaking.
We would love to hire Miky again in the future.
