Pastrami Pizza is the BEST!!!

I ordered a salad and the guy goes to the back and it seems like he’s making fun of what I ordered with some other people in the back. I thought it was rude. I know you don’t go to a pizza place for a salad, but I was traveling through the area and had wanted something light after having eaten a heavier meal earlier. The salad was good. Wish the customer service was better though.

I was born and raised in the Pizza capital of the world… Chicago. I’ll just start by saying, generally, Southern California pizza is atrocious. This spot, though, is definitely the best pizza I’ve had since I have been here past 3 years. Good people, quality service, family owned, great fresh pizza, can’t beat it.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I like to consider myself somewhat of a pepperoni pizza connoisseur — I’m kidding. This place is awesome. From the perfectly proportioned pizza ingredients to the laid back ambiance. Yes you could buy a large $ 5 diarrhea pie from Little Caesars or you can support a local business and feel good inside. Seriously love it. They don’t take card though. Oh and they’re «small» house salad is huge and is only $ 3.50.

Been coming to this family run joint for 15 years. By far the best pizza in Orange County. The guys working here are also very friendly. They have a daily lunch special every day as well. Kuddos

Just finished officiating a game and had the craving for some home made lasagna… this place is awesome and the food is absolutely incredible!
You should give it a try! The service is great and the atmosphere isn’t bad either!!!

Ok, Here’s what simple happy people ordered:
Salad w blue cheese dressing, big enough to share w 3. Simple fresh ingredient (lettuce mainly) you can buy from supermarket. Tons of cheese. Nothing special.
Spaghetti w meatball, spaghetti is not as dense as I would like. Very typical spaghetti you can get elsewhere so does the sauce. It does feel fresh and give you a home cooking feel but it also mean I can make it home myself and as good. Meatball is soft inside but too salty. Overall this is a meal loads with sodium.
Lasagna, did not try.
Bread, fresh and good.
Service, friendly and happy workers here.
I think their speciality is the pizza, I will have to try the pizza again and update my review. But so far at this point I am not impressed and think I just had the most unhealthy meal of my life.
Cash only and I did not get a receipt so I don’t know exactly how much each order cost but total was $ 29.

My family has been coming here for over 20 years. Same awesome staff same amazing pizza and sandwiches ALWAYS! I could eat here everyday. Fado, Armin, Byron… the whole squad is always so friendly and happy to serve you!
This will always be my favorite pizza place I won’t ever stop coming here! :)

We didn’t give up on this place as the kids love being able to walk to have dinner or lunch. The grease on the pizza has disappeared and improved. Recently tried the salads and they are great. They are cash only so stop by the ATM before going. We’ll be back

I have forgotten how good their pizza was I have eaten there two times in three nights. You have to try the pastrami pizza. And even the salad is good.

Never less than a great experience! The owners are awesome, always welcoming and personable and they have the best salads ever… creamy Italian dressing on the house or antipasta salad is ridiculously good. I come here twice a week and on my cheat days I’ll order the pizza which is nothing like I’ve ever had before. The crust, sauce, everything about it is amazing.

Best pizza ever! Left the beach to look for food! Found this pizza joint! I wasn’t expecting much so I was very happy when I took that first bite! The service was great! Gentleman behind the counter offered me a free soda while I waited and carried the food to my car for me! Great service, great food! I’ll definitely make a trip back just for the pizza and service!

I was really craving pizza and this place had great pizza that really hit the spot! My friend and I split one small and it was more than though. The crust was fresh and perfectly crispy. It wasn’t oily like other pizza places. Mushrooms were fresh, chicken was just a tad in the dry side.
The service was good, I can tell they are close with the community as it seemed like they knew quite a few of the customers who came in. I think it might be family owned, and I have a soft spot for places thar are family owned.
Would definitely come back next time I’m in the area!

Their Italian sub gets 5+ stars — perfect bread with quality meat. This is one that reminds me of back home… yum!
Pizza (delivery) 3.5 stars. Great sauce but it could have stayed in the oven longer, it was really dough-​y. Bet if I went in for a slice I would have a different experience so I’ll be giving the pizza another try.

Great food, great staff, great vibe! The pizza is homemade and so good every single time. They are very consistent with their food. I just recently tried their mushroom and garlic sauce pasta, and it was very delicious. They also can do a hot vege sandwich for you that isn’t on the menu and it is mouth watering good.
You can never go wrong with their slices daily special that comes with their house salad. YUM. I am getting hungry just typing this review.

Been coming here since i was a wee lad and this place is the jam… family style atmosphere with delicious pizza. Ranch is 50 cents. its worth it… amd the tvs are always on whatever sports you wanna watch…

If u like a not so thick crust, this pizza is for you. I like to get my pizza to go tho. I love this pizza. No other pizza can taste like this. Kinda like newyork style. Service is meh. I would give it a 5 but service is so easy. You just be nice. Period but sooo many places don’t value the service policy.

Not quite in the same class as Grimaldi’s, but definitely great for your neighborhood New York style pizza. The kitchen is totally exposed so you get to see that the dough is expertly hand spun by some very serious looking pie makers. Smile boys, although one of them did give me a shout out as I was watching him work that dough. Hey what can I say, I’m easily entertained.
This is a larger space than many of your neighborhood pie purveyors with several flats tuned into sports of course, and I love their super comfortable booths. I was greeted by a friendly smiling young chap, not always the case here, and ordered up a small pie with schrooms, olives, onions, and sausage. All tasted very fresh except for the canned olives, but not a deal breaker as most pizzerias use canned olives as well. A little too much cheese for my liking, but that is typical of these types of pizzerias. I requested that they over bake a tad, and that request was fulfilled perfectly with a nice slightly crisp crust bone. The very flavorful sauce definitely tastes homemade.
They do serve beer and wine, and the wine glass was of surprisingly decent quality, as I have been given wine in plastic glasses before at these casual family owned places. Classy!
Hot tip from a friend who grew up close by: he claims the sandwiches far outshine the pizzas in his opinion, so will follow up on that some other time. On this evening pizza was my craving. Other tips: cash only, they offer slices, several pasta dishes and salads too. Located 1 block from the beach, so very convenient to schlep a pizza to the beach, or stop by on your way back for those post beach munchies.

As a New Yorker I’m very picky about my pizza, it was decent but definitely not the best pizza. I did like the crust it was thin, chewy and tasty New York style but the sauce was kind of bland. The guys behind the counter were very friendly and it is reasonable. A glass of wine is $ 3.50 can’t go wrong with that.
