It is now closed. I drove by it and the sign is now taken down with the windows all covered up.

Currently. . this is my favorite taco shop in Huntington Beach. The Carnitas tacos are really good and I like their tortillas a lot — thick with a good corn taste. It’s the tortillas that keep me coming back, really. I keep meaning to try a Mulita but never seem to get around to it since the tacos are so good. The $ 1.75 tacos are bigger than average but not huge. .I usually get 2 or 3 depending on how hungry I am. UPDATE3⁄08 This is *Still* my favorite taco place in HB.

My friend saw a review on this place in the OC Weekly and we decided to give it a try. The place is on the northeast corner of Beach and Warner in a little tiny hole in the wall. It’s so small, you’d probably just pass right by it if you weren’t looking for it. It’s a small place, a little grubby and very few tables. Order a mulita because it’s in their name so I figured they’d be good at it. They are. A mulita is kinda like a quesadilla but not really… you’re just gonna have to try it. Also had some of the quesadilla … both were excellent albeit a bit on the greasy side. The food is really good but it’s not something I think I’d find myself craving for… but that’s personal preference.
