Came here because I heard some good things. Fairly disappointed. Good was mediocre. Work with high end and high quality food and this was not close. The service was great! Drinks were good and strong.(ordered a Bloody Mary and a penicillin.) Ordered the naked chicken saltimbocca and it was just a chicken patty with cheese on it. My mom makes chicken better with cream of mushroom. Also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which was pretty good. Added jalapeños and a fried egg because why not! As a starter we got the ribs and they were mediocre at best. May come here again and try different things.

I’ve been here 3 times now and all 3 times, service and food were great! My favorite dishes have got to be the bruschetta and mussels(both are starters). I like small portions so I love ordering a few items on the starters menu instead of ordering a main entrée. That mussel dish though, omg, it was to die for! The broth was so freaken delicious and flavorful… very much reminded me of this mussel dish I had in charleston last year. They have a good selection of beer too and you can always ask for a sample before committing to ordering one.

Love this place. It’s one of my favorite restaurants and I get to live close by it. They have this steak salad which I love and their mimosas are amazing. My husband gets the Fresno burger and it’s his favorite. We aren’t a fan of their beers but their appetizers are great. We love the bruschetta and wings, and we love them. My daughter(3) gets their chicken strips and loves it. Cons: Their kitchen service slacks at time when they get busy and the meat some times isn’t always cooked correctly but overall I’d be back over and over again.

I won a $ 5 gift card from a local Orange County event this last summer so I finally got a chance to try this place. I had the Eureka Burger with medium beef patty that I substitute the fries for a salad with lemon vinaigrette. Beef patty was juicy too. I finished off the meal with a chocolate soufflé for dessert. The hamburger and salad was a good size meal for one person even though it appears to look huge when you receive it. The chocolate soufflé had the right amount of richness in chocolate to make it taste decadent. When chocolate tastes too rich you really can’t enjoy the flavor. I recommend the Eureka burger, salad and chocolate soufflé.

Came here for the first time with my sister’s and cousins. All of us are pretty laid back and not very picky. There were so many issues with all of our orders we are never going back. The service was absolutely terrible, we had to make eye contact in order for someone to come to our table. side note: 6different people were taking care of our table and all the tables surrounding us… *The server gave one of my sister’s ‘well done’ steak when she asked for ‘medium rare’ and also didn’t ever bring her a new fork because hers fell on the ground, so she had to borrow someone’s when they were done eating. * My other sisters steak was rare when she asked for medium. *My hamburger(the cowboy) had no sauce on it and was so dry and also they brought me the wrong beer and took 15 min to bring me the correct one. *My cousin asked for ranch and it came 20minutes later, when she was done eating her food. *We also asked for bread with balsamic vinegar and oil, we asked for it twice and they brought it when we were all done eating, annnnd it was literally hotdog bread, with ONLY oil?! Where is the balsamic vinegar? And why hotdog bread, really?

I am a frequent visitor of Eureka’s castle. I usually just come here for the ambiance and great drinks selection. The bartenders are great and can make a mean old fashion!(drink of choice on my death bed) They always have rotating taps and beer changes almost every single day. If you are feeling a bit bold take a plunge into the $ 21 whiskey flight. That would definitely put you over the moon. As far as food goes… umm my mama told me «if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all» I usually never order food. but I was hungry on this occasion. Mussels were salty, Burrito was«vanilla», Lollipop corn dogs. really dawg?! That’s all ! ill be back for my pappy van winkle shot!

This place does deserve 5 stars for the service they were very polite and attentive. However, the food was nothing special. Nothing in the happy hours appetizers had good reviews except for the corn dogs so we ordered them and was disappointed. We ordered a cow boy burger and the naked chicken. It was whatever’s and I was really hungry too and usually when you’re hungry the food taste 10x better. Food: 3⁄10 Service: 10⁄10 store look: 10⁄10

What a nice evening! Our second time here and it was even better than the first. Our server«KYLE» did a wonderful job. Right from the get go he seated us and took care of us from beginning to end. Yes, he did his job and then some offering us items we wouldn’t normally order and we went for it. He was engaging and entertaining and the food was phenomenal. If you get a chance to stop do… The kids menu is great and affordable and every burger so far has been undeniably fabulous. Thank you to the manager Eddie. It is nice to be remembered. We will return!

First of all, parking is terrible due to being in such a huge mall. This Eureka was at first a bit hard to find since it was tucked in a corner and by itself separate from the main mall close to where the Costco gas is. On the other hand, this also means that you can explore the mall while waiting! It helps that you are notified that your table is available through text rather than a traditional buzzer system with limited range. Now that the cons are out of the way, the first thing I noticed is that this Eureka location is bigger than other I had been to in Irvine and San Diego. Despite it being hectically busy, our waiter Jake and the other waiters/waitresses were always stayed on top of the rush. Jake was really helpful with beer suggestions without being too pushy about trying the«new seasonal this» or «promotional that». With his help, me and my date were able to promptly enjoy a stress free night of dining. I had the Pearl Street Blues Burger with a salad while my date had the Fig Burger with fries. The fries were nothing special and the salad consisted of your basic greens, but it was overwhelming to hear Jake rattle off the 10 or 15 different types of vinaigrettes the restaurant had. I didn’t even want to ask about their ranches or blue cheese. All their patties hit the spot if you have a burger craving as they always tend to be the right amount of juiciness without also drenching your plate once you finish with grease. Out of the two burgers the fig burger had my favor as the sweetness of the fig jam compliments the savory flavors of the burger well. All in all, a good experience and worth a visit.

Location: This particular Eureka! is located in the Bella Terra shopping center in Huntington Beach. It is on the side of Costco, located on the first floor of the apartments. Look for the big orange letters that say EUREKA! Haha. Parking can be challenging near that area given that its close to a costco, ulta, old navy, burlington coat factory and a bed bath and beyond to name a few BUT if you are okay with walking, there is a parking structure that is within walking distance near the theaters. It’s about a 5 minute walk from there and you can always find parking there. Service: We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated immediately(this was around 8:45pm on a wednesday night though mind you). Our waiter greeted us almost right away and brought us some drinks to start. He was very prompt and checked on us repeatedly. Our alcoholic drinks came out quickly and as ordered. Our food also came out in short order. It was«hoppy hour» — late night — so we did order an appetizer — nacho average nachos(get it?!). Overall, good friendly fast service. Food: So again, we ordered some alcohol — wine for me and beer for the husband. Both were good and served in a good size glass for us. $ 6 for the beer and $ 7 for the wine. Not bad — but i wish that alcohol was also included in the late night«hoppy hour». Apparently late night only includes food??? Why? The nacho average nachos were a good sized portion for an appetizer. My only«complaint» was that they were covered in jalepenos. I really dislike jalepenos so I couldnt eat much of them If i had read the menu and not just the hoppy hour menu I might have seen that though so not necessarily their fault. For my entrée I ordered a watermelon salad — it was good, however too much cheese and dressing for me. Those two things completely overwhelmed the rest of the salad. And definitely not enough watermelon for my taste. Not my favorite watermelon salad, but not the worst Ive had. My husband definitely enjoyed his jalapeño egg burger — devoured the whole thing in no time flat. Fries are great — hand cut and in-between skinny and steak fries. Just enough so that you can actually taste the real potato underneath the crispy exterior. In retrospect, I should have ordered my own side of fries! Overall: Good service, array of food and drink options. I’ll probably try something other than the salads next time though. Fries were definitely worth it. Will probably be back one day…

I love Eureka Burger for the high quality burgers that they serve. I rarely eat burgers, but when I do, I want it medium rare, served with delicious panko breaded onion rings or sweet potato fries, and an amazing beer. Eureka’s rotating beer list never disappoints! They carry a lot of local microbrews. Pros: –Great spot to hang out at with an awesome outdoor patio and firepit –Great food and drinks –Great service –Much better wait time than the Claremont Eureka location –Shopping after/before you eat to kill time since it is inside the Bella Terra Cons: –Not many… They did mess up my fig burger order twice now by not giving the fig marmalade which sort of completes the fig burger experience –Parking can be more difficult than I’d like, but there is a parking structure that is a short walk away

Eureka was not on my foodie radar, but glad that some friends had suggested this as a weekend lunch location! Parking — Eureka is adjacent to Costco… which means parking is not always predictable or easy, especially on the weekends. To be safe you can park in the structure or park in the lot near Edinger and walk over. I love the openness of this restaurant and with the current renovations done at Bella Terra, the terrace view is quite nice! Lots of seating available and interior is contemporary/rustic. Service was great! FOOD/DRINKS: $ 5 Blood Marys all day on Saturday got me smiling really big =D(might be all weekend, double check) //Shishito Peppers \\ — Yummy and light appetizer. The fish eggs on top were a surprisingly good addition to this, as it adds a slight mild saltiness to the peppers. //Short Ribs \\ — This was the table’s favorite appetizer. Creamy garlic sauce on top of small pieces of tender meat is just what the doctor ordered. //Wings \\ — The sauce really made these and I liked em. //Bone Marrow Burger \\ — Burger patty is juicy and rich in flavor. I was trying to watch my carb consumption, but I bet this burger rocks harder with a nice bun. Fries were cooked just how I like em. I spied a lot of drink options but the Bloody Marys left no room for any other friends to play. I would definitely come back and try the other burgers on the menu!

Bloody marys for $ 5 all weekend?! Say what? I am a bloody mary fiend. Hearing that statement alone, I needed to check this place out. I have heard mixed things about this restaurant from different friends, so I was not sure what to expect. I met my friend for a weekday lunch and we were seated in a nice spacious elevated booth inside. The restaurant was really cool inside and had an awesome bar lining the back of the restaurant. There was a side area with wines and whiskeys. Our server was awesome. We asked him about several items on the menu, and he told us about his favorites. We decided to share small plates between the two of us. We started with the Shishito Peppers which were amazing. I made my lunch companion deconstruct this as she went to culinary school in Italy, and these were the best damn shishito peppers I have ever had. We think they were roasted with olive oil, salt, chives and topped with masago(fish eggs). We also split the Original Eureka Burger with the suggestion of Havarti cheese from our server. It was juicy and delicious! Lastly, we chose the Golden Ale mussels as we both love mussels. These were an interesting mix of bacon stock, Golden ale and jalapenos and pancetta and herbs. These were tasty with an interesting mix of flavors. There is a really nice outdoor patio, if you prefer to dine outside. We chose the inside option as it was a quite a warm day. Service was terrific for us with the waiter checking on what we thought about everything we ate which was really attentive and sweet. Alas, we did not imbibe in alcohol this day, as my friend needed to head back to work, but you can be sure that I will be back for that $ 5 bloody mary on the weekend and check out some of their other offerings.

Tried the all day breakfast burrito. The carnitas were very tender. More like pot roast style to me. I also tried the cream of potato soup. It also had good flavor. The service was pretty decent.

I’m usually not a big fan of burgers and almost never crave for them but tonight was an exception so I chose Eureka and it did not disappoint. We were sat at a lovely corner table outdoors which made our dining experience that much better. I opted for the Napa burger($ 11.5) which came with Roma tomatoes and arugula. It was the perfect balance. Very filling even though I only ate half and not so heavy and greasy like a lot of burgers. I also ordered a side salad($ 3 during hh) with their parsley dressing that they make in house. It was really good! Good for sharing also. I liked the choice of greens that they used and it was tossed with just the right amount of dressing not overly drenched.

Really enjoyed lunch… Sat in a huge both. Cool vibe with a super nice server that was attentive. The shishito peppers had a lemon flavor to them and were delicious! The burger was messy good! Huge beer, wine and whisky menu. Can’t wait to go back

Beers: English 101 by Noble Brewing Co in Anaheim, CA4.6% $ 3. Denogginizer by Drakes Brewing Co in San Leandro, CA $ 6 for 13oz. Food: Pearl bleu burger with side of truffle sauce and fries $ 11.50. It was good, but didn’t officially make it to our favorite burger joints list as it barely stood out. Service: It was good, but we were over charged $ 69 for a $ 23 bill. Good thing we caught that and they fixed the issue! How did that happen :( It looks like their happy hour list and prices are good for your wallet, but we probably won’t be back for awhile due to the mishap with the bill.

Service here is hit or miss, but the food is consistently good. I’ve tried quite a few of their menu items and thoroughly enjoyed everything. They also have a good Happy Hour menu that includes beer, wine and appetizers. As far as the appetizers I’ve had the Lollipop Corn Dogs, Shishito Peppers(loved), and Truffle Cheese Fries(these could have used a little more truffle cheese sauce), and enjoyed all of the flavors. Shishito Peppers are so under-rated and most people don’t think of ordering them, but when grilled with lemon and garlic they pack a lot of flavor! Shishito Peppers need love too! My sister ordered the Fried Chicken Sliders, which were good too, but I typically don’t like ordering sliders since there’s too much bread to meat ratio. This goes for all sliders, not just these in particular, but overall the combo of flavors was good and the reaper chili sauce was a nice touch. Burgers: I really like The Original Eureka! because it’s simple and the flavor of the meat is not overpowered with sauces and ingredients. If I’m in the mood for a more saucy burger, the Fresno Fig Burger is my go-to. It’s really rich with the fig marmalade and it’s definitely different(in a good way) than any other burger I’ve tried. The atmosphere here is really nice. This place doesn’t look very big from the outside, but it’s huge inside! There’s plenty of tables and a lot of seating at the bar. They have tons of beers on tap; including specialty beers(which I believe are on rotation). They also have a pretty outdoor patio for dining. Overall I recommend Eureka! for food and drinks. Next time I go here I want to try the Bone Marrow Burger; it looks phenomenal!

The wife and I stopped in here for lunch last Saturday and boy were we shocked. We had been here a year ago and it wasn’t much to write about but what a difference a year makes. It looks like they went through a major overhaul. We were seated promptly by an extremely friendly hostess. Our waiter was at our table within seconds of being seated polite young man named Chad. He took our drink order and was on his way. The entire makeup of the restaurant is really nice looking. Love their use of wood design throughout. They had every type of beer you could ask for. Within about a minute Chad was back with our drinks and asked if we had any questions about the menu. While we were looking it over he suggested appetizers of nachos. They were amazing. I love how fresh the chips were the guacamole was great and the chipotle sauce on top was out of this world. The wife ordered a cowboy or rodeo Burger. It has been a week and she is still talking about how great it was. She said the bun was extremely fresh had a unique taste and the burger was perfect in every way. I had a type of blue burger i.e. blue cheese. It was out of this world also. I agree with the wife the buns tasted great they were extremely fresh and added so much to the overall burger. The meat was great and you could tell it was high-quality. Both of our meals also came with fries that were hot and tasted amazing. I’m not sure if you would call this place a Gastro pub or what, but I would come here for the food it is spectacular in every sense of the word. As we were finishing our meal the manager Bunny stopped by and asked how it was. We told her how amazing our entire meal was and how much the restaurant had changed in a year. She suggested we try one of their desserts the caramel butterscotch pudding. The wife and I were both somewhat full but we have a soft spot for butterscotch. The pudding was to die for. It had a great salted caramel sauce on it. I still think about that and the burger every day getting a craving. I wish this place was closer to my home I would be going their way more often. We will be making special trips to Huntington Beach just to go to this restaurant. The restaurant was extremely clean. The staff understood guest service. Our drinks were never empty and you could tell they really wanted us to enjoy our meal something that is missing and so many restaurants. Great job to the Manager and her entire staff. All we can say is wow! We will be back very soon. If you are ever in the area of Huntington Beach I highly suggest you make the effort to visit this restaurant you will be glad you did.

Most people come here with the intention to drink… or at least that was mine. Last time I came here was with my girlfriend. We came around 6pm on a weekday for some drinks. Most of their drinks were only Scotch, Bourbon, and whiskey. I’m a vodka girl so I was kinda in a dilemma. I went for their Mint julep. Now I like my drinks strong and this was strong, but the combination of mint and scotch was pretty disguising. My girlfriend’s bloody mary was also not good. She didn’t finish it. Besides drinks, we got a Kale salad, apple crisp, and some truffle fries. Kale salad was okay. Apple crisp was pretty good. The truffle fries were good but beware because it’s almost like poutine. Yummy. As for service, the host and one of the girls working there wasn’t friendly. She originally placed us in cold outside with all the families and babies. Uh no. So we asked to move inside. The guy waiting on us inside was very nice and friendly. Our foods and drinks came fast. I think for two drinks and three items not during happy hour the bill was about $ 45. The inside of the place is spacey. When we came they had live music. A girl was strumming on her guitar singing covers. They have plenty of TVs if you are there to watch the game. The outside patio is also nice.
