Five stars for the pizza, which is killer good. The white pizza is amazing. The salad we had was so so, and we didn’t try the pasta, but come on, this is a PIZZA place, and the pizza is great. Also nice staff and a clean, comfortable dining room.

Food is good. I recommend this place for sure. That said, watch what you get charged for what you’re ordering. I got charged incorrectly and by the time I could contest, my card was already charged. It wasn’t a big mistake but I don’t have that experience ever. This happened the second time I came and so I assume it may be an isolated incident. Double check your amount prior to giving your card.

Decent pizza but very much overpriced. 2 pizzas and a salad was more than $ 60. It’s good but not that good.

Food was ok, service was excellent. Alan is a gracious host. Pizza was a lil too moist on the bottom for me, pass on the meatballs and cheese garlic bread next time. They have beer on tap, and the strombolli we ordered to go was tasty.

Such good pizza! We just moved near here less than a week ago & have already been here THREETIMES!!! You can get a slice of pizza for only $ 3.24! They have many kinds ready to go & they just re-heat it real quick… takes less than ten min & it comes out nice & crispy. It’s a thinner, crispy style crust. The salad we tried was a little high priced for the size. But, as I said $ 3.24 for a slice is a great deal! There are comfy booths to relax in & TVs to watch while you wait for the friendly staff to bring your order to the table. We will definitely be visiting here often!!! /5

I’ve searched all over most of northern orange county and the beach cities to find the closest thing to real New York Pizza. This is it. The crust is flimsy yet crispy just like street pizza in New York. The sauce has that little bit of something that you can’t find on California pizza and the topping are top notch. This will definitely be my go to New York style pizza place from now on.

Great pizza. As New York as you can get in California… Delivery may take time at night but worth the wait. Wings aren’t too bad either…

I love NY pizza and this is the best I’ve had in Orange County. I had the Buffalo chicken slice and it was so good I will get it every time. The staff is friendly and the 2 slice special is a great deal. Love this place.

Nice place to fix my pizza jones. Close to the casa. I’ll ride my bike and get a slice again. Good find since I’m new to the neighbourhood. Thanks for the pizza.

The margarita pizza was really good. I also like that they have slices of different pizzas ready in the front if you want a quick heat up and to go. The place is pretty big and looks great for gatherings. I was lost finding it at first but it is located to the left of trader joes. Check in for discounts if you order like 20 $ worth or something. I really enjoyed the gluten free pizzas. …worth checking out.

Decent pizza joint with an okay selection of by the slice pizzas. I usually order a slice of cheese as comparison to all the other pizza joints I’ve been too. I’ve had much better pizzas elsewhere, though if I was a local to the area I would definitely return. The crust is good when warmed, with the perfect crispness and is just the right amount of thin. The sauce is lacking, vey discreet tasting and lacks a punch. The cheese barely melted, and I was mildly disappointed with that. Service is friendly enough, and there are enough tv’s around the joint to keep you entertained. Overall, an a-ok joint.

They have great gf pizza. The workers are all super nice and it’s super cool inside. And it’s Gf by the slice which I can never ever find!

Good local tasting thin crust pie and the crust has that delicious filtered water crust taste.

Very disappointing. Today is my last cheat day before starting my 60 Day Weight loss challenge. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and meatball pizza(fresh out of the oven) and a side of meatball for a little extra protein. $ 10… I was a little surprised about the price, but went with it. The thin crust pizza is limp. Sauce couldn’t be tasted. And cheese and toppings were boring. Generally limp, thin crust pizzas are bright with greasy flavor. Not this one. On to the meatballs. 5 small meatballs and sauce that tasted like Prego. Both probably pruchased from Costco for 50 cents. Price: $ 5.99 The owner asked how everything was. I nicely mentioned that they were disappointing and he proceeded to tell me that it must be my taste buds. ZERO customer service. No attempt to fix the poor experience.

This is a great place if you’re in the mood for pizza yet nobody can agree what toppings they want. For $ 7.40 you get two giant slices of pizza and a drink. The great part is there’s 12 pizzas to pick from. I had a slice of artichoke, spinach, and pesto pizza and a slice of pepperoni, sausage, and meatball. The pizzas are cooked to about 80% done. When you pick your slices they finish cooking it up in the oven so you get a nice crisp slice. Tasted great. Very flavorful sauce and generous amounts of toppings. My wife and I split and caesar but it was just OK. Tasted like Kraft bottled dressing. Place has plenty of seating inside and out. There’s some beer on tap and lots of TV’s playing sports.

Not my go to pizza place, although they do make good specialty pizza. Try Garden Olive, a Mediterranean joint 5 min down the road who can make a killer pizza and that’s not even their specialty. My pizza guage: scale of 1 – 10 Dough– 5 Sauce– 5 Cheese– 6 Is it good hot? Yes Is it good room temp? No Is it good cold? No If the answer to all three temperature questions is yes you have a winner! But this place is not a winner… You be the judge, give em a try !!

This is another reason why I love living in the harbour! Even though I’m a Boston Red Sox fan, I’ll still support this establishment! hehe. For those who have been here before, you know why! hehe The pizza is freshly made and absolutely delish! Everyone that works here is been so wonderful! I love the bbq chicken pizza the most! Come grab a beer and watch the games on the big screens! TONS of seating!

This review is a little late in coming as I’ve been busy with schoolwork and workwork. After spending the day helping my mom move into her new place, she wanted to rest at what was left of the house for one last night and decided she wanted a pizza. Using Unilocal,I found A Slice of New York, and they delivered. As I’m calling, I pull out my wallet to get my credit card, and mom freaks out, saying«No, use mine!» just as the phone is answered. The person answering the phone is hearing me say«I got this» and my mom in her heavily-accented English saying«No, use my card.» I tell the guy«Hold on a sec, my mom and I are arguing over whose card to use…» I finally take her card, order the pizza and give out her information. As it’s a BEAUTIFUL Saturday evening(again, why did I move to Texas?), there is an hour wait for delivery. No biggie, it’s a nice night for a drive, so I tell them I’ll pick it up. The shop is only about a mile and a half from the house, hidden behind Trader Joe’s. I remember as a kid riding my bike to the same shopping center and thinking it was at the other end of the globe. My mom didn’t even know the restaurant existed. As I walk in, I’m reminded of the pizza joints I have visited in New York and New Jersey. The front counter has various pizzas and calzones under glass just waiting for someone to order a slice. There are a couple tables and booths, very homey atmosphere. Maybe I’m glad I don’t live nearby anymore. I tell the person behind the counter my name, and ask them if I can reverse the charges on the card I called in with and use mine instead. She has no clue and gets the manager. I explain that I wanted to pay for it using my card, and he explains that in order to do that, they would need to card or the credit card number as the charge has been submitted and needs to be reversed, but I can call it in. I’ve heard stranger things with POS systems. As we’re talking, the manager asks where I was from. I told him that I grew up in HB but live in Texas now. The manager says I have this Midwest/East Coast accent. I laugh, as I went to college in the Midwest and spent 10 years there, and spent a lot of time in the Northeast(and picked up a Boston accent, which got me out of a ticket a couple days after I came back from that loooong trip). So, I get my pizza and return to mom’s. I finagle her to give me her card saying the shop needs to reverse the delivery charge since I picked up the pizza. Being retired, she’s frugal(on the cheap side, sorry mom) and lets me get the charge reversed(HA, gotcha mom!). Okay, the pizza is kind of expensive, about $ 20 for a large(much more than the $ 8 at Domino’s, my mom’s go-to place). The crust was thin, crunchy and chewy, with big slices of pepperoni and fresh mushrooms. Even after settling during the car ride home. As we’re sitting on the floor eating, my mom says«This is good, really good. I need to go there sometime.» Being a little old Japanese lady, mom tends to eat like a bird. Tonight she tore into that pizza like a hawk. I was looking forward to leftover pizza for breakfast, but I think mom got up for a midnight snack as there wasn’t any left in the morning.

Came here for lunch today and they had so many different pizzas per slice, much more than your typical pizza place. Their combo for 2 slices and a drink for $ 6.95 is a killer deal!!! Pizza slices were thin and delicious. I had a slice of pepperoni and ham/pineapple. They had many other pizza slices that looked good, it was hard to make a choice! I would definitely try them again for delivery!
