I filed a claim for emergency evacuation from Iraq. I paid for a policy to return me to the«hospital of my choice» which was Stanford Hospital in California. Roam Right instead decided to fly my to Istanbul, Turkey. When I was able I booked a flight home and checked in to Stanford. I had to write four letters, contact the Ca Dept of Ins to go to bat for me, send piles of paperwork, and wait over four months to get my reimbursement. Meanwhile, the $ 7000+ I had spent on hospitals overseas and on a flight home, remained on my credit card. I would NEVER buy their travel insurance. There are plenty of other options out there, even if they are two or three dollars more.
