Amazing store. Incredible selection of games, toys and supplies for kids. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They’ll even teach you some of the games they have for sale. Impressive Playmobil selection. Prices are competitive, but I honestly wouldn’t mind paying more to support this unique local store. A shining gem in a world of otherwise corporate options for kids. We shop here as much as possible. They always end up throwing in cool freebies for the kids, from stickers and DVDs to promo Playmobil figures. I can spend hours in here each visit… and I do!

Toy selection is awesome. Prices on some items are high– a 4 inch stroller toy by corolle was priced at $ 18.95– while others are fairly reasonable. The pottery painting was really not worth the cost. They tack on an $ 8 charge on each item to cover paint and fire costs, unlike Color me Mine that charges $ 8 per person painting. Also, you are not allowed to make handprints or footprints on the pottery without scheduling an appointment with someone that works there. The owner is a little rough around the edges for someone who works in a toy store. He can be kind of crass, but has helped me find a great selection of books and toys that my daughter loves.

This unassuming toy store near Hershey, PA is full of childhood memories forgotten for some and yet to be made for others. Street parking has a two hour limit so check your watch as you could easily lose track of time and spend 2 hours or more in this amazing store. The staff are friendly and seem knowledgeable and the selection is just impressive. If you are looking for the latest in Barbies, Action Figures, and Video Games this is not the place to go. If you are looking for creative, intelligent, and all around great toys that inspire your children to imagine and play, I can’t recommend them enough!

Surprisingly, this was the highlight of our trip to Hershey. I’m surprised no one has ever reviewed this place before! Our out of town guests had picked up Hershey area attraction brochures and this one looked interesting. They bill themselves as the largest toy store east of the Mississippi(or something like that) on their brochure. And, heck, for all I know, they may be the largest independent toy store on this side of our country. Anyways, it doesn’t look like much from the street. We parked along the street and walked in what appeared to be your standard old small town building. However, this place is monstrous and stuffed from end to end with mostly toys that don’t need batteries. Melissa & Doug. Trains. Blocks. Games. Puppets. Books. Dress Up. Random dinosaurs. Stuffed animals. It was a mecca for those parents who prefer that their kids play with«real toys» instead of things that beep and buzz. We spent almost two hours exploring and reliving our childhoods. And the childhoods we want to give our kids. Hello, huge M&D wooden castle with catapult set! Huzzah! The staff was unbelievably friendly & helpful. We saw many grandparents coming in and asking for advise on things that their grandkids might like… especially trains and blocks. The staff was patient and helpful with everyone. Prices were fair. I’m sure you can buy things cheaper online if you dig around, but sometimes you just want to shop in a store and pick things up. I know where we’ll be stopping when we drive past this area and need to buy a toy for a little one!
