These guys rip people off. My wife took her car in to have the starter replaced. I knew it was the starter before she went in. They told her they’d run a diagnosis on the car and if we decided to get the repair done there they wouldn’t charge her for the diagnosis.
The estimate said the diagnosis was $ 105 and labor was 1.5 hours at a rate of $ 105 per hour ($ 157.50 total). When she got the bill they removed the diagnostic charge but added an extra hour for labor. I checked the national average for labor on starters for the make of my car and they charged more than $ 150 over the national average. I’ve also changed my starter myself before within 1.5 hours and I’m not even a mechanic.
A day later we had issues again. The car wouldn’t start. I took it back. They said they checked it and it was the ignition switch. They’re not equipped to handle those repairs.
I had it towed to another mechanic. The other mechanics told me that the mechanics at NTB did a horrible job. My new mechanic didn’t charge me for the work, they just corrected what NTB failed to do correctly.
They are a battery and tire place, I get it, but if you’re a business and you offer a service you better make sure you’re doing your best and striving to be the best. For that reason I gave them low rating. They also seem dishonest, they do poor work, they cost me more money because they didn’t do the work right the first time (i.e., $ 85 to tow it to another shop), and don’t value their customer’s time.
Avoid this location. I tried to call them this morning to explain this but they placed me on hold and then dropped my call. They just don’t seem to care.

The people all around have been amazing and have taken really good care of me an my mom. Being a family of just females we have to be careful because people tend to over price us from time to time… will be returning.

My tire was an average price, but what got me was the service. Dalton the service representative was very kind, and offered but not pushed the extra services. They had me in and out in 20 min. I did wait there while they did the service, and there lounge area was comfortable and clean. The other big plus was that they we’re open until 8:00. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Came for a oil change and tire repair told me it would be an hour and 15 mins. So went to lunch came back and they hadn’t done anything. It has now been 2 hours and still waiting. Not a very happy customer. They are really nice and tried to make up for it though. plus they didn’t even call us to let us know that they couldn’t fix the tire

No stars is exactly right! This place rips people off. If you take your car there for an inspection be prepared for a LOOOOONG wait only to be told by Frank that there is something wrong with your car and it won’t pass the inspection. They wanted to charge me over $ 200 to make the repairs that my husband could do himself and they were WAY overpriced anyway. My husband looked at what we were told needed to be fixed and there was nothing wrong. Interesting fact that I can take my car anywhere else and it passes.

NEVER AGAIN. Despite the bad reviews on this place, i still decided to go there, because it was just a simple oil change, and it is less than 2 minutes from my house. I dropped my car off at 1145am, the manager, Frank Cummings, said it wouldn’t be ready until 4pm, they were backed up, and they would get to my car around that time. Needless to say, when i arrived at 4:15pm, i noticed my car was still in the same place that I parked it. I walked inside, and the same guy looked up and saw me, and said «It’s just gonna be a few more minutes, OK?» I replied, «Oh, so you still haven’t done anything yet?» «No ma’am, we’re gonna get it inside right now.» I said, «No, you’re gonna give me my keys, and i am going elsewhere.» — And i did. This place is a CROCK. Never again will i go there, for ANYTHING.
