Lilia Mitchell engages in collaborative counseling with her clients. She is very attentive and truly hears what her client is attempting to communicate, even when words fail. She is down-​to-​earth, and offers practical, real world observations and guidance. There is no smoke or mirrors with Lilia. She doesn’t preach from an ivory tower. She’s in the trenches with her clients, helping us build ladders tall enough to escape the rabbit holes in which we sometimes find ourselves. It would be difficult to find a counselor anywhere who offers the rapport, connection, encouragement, support, and mutual respect afforded by Lilia Mitchell.
