Just moved to Norwood and exploring different places to eat. I love this place, I had the best curry tuna roasted almond and raisins sandwich.

The place was pretty good. My wife had a tasty mozzarella sandwich. The crab cake was tasty, but small. Service was not bad, but had its issues, which I confronted the owner about. I may or may not be back. If I go back I will try the pizza. Management should be more accepting of feedback from customers.

This place makes some awesome muffins. Also tried a French baguette which was very fresh and tasty. The guys working here are very patient and friendly as well. I Will be back to try one of their hot sandwiches.

First time here, I was very pleased. The sandwiches were great! The selection of sandwiches was awesome also. Looking forward to going back and trying all they have to offer, I saw that they offer smoothies. And they also had fresh baked goods also. I thought the décor was cool also, it had a coffeehouse feel to it. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

We were at the dealership on rte 1 and looked on Unilocal for a decent place to eat. Based on the reviews we went to Breadbasket Bakery and Café. We split two sandwiches(each served with chips and tasty side salad): — roasted portabella mushroom with roasted red pepper, carmelized onion on foccacia — fresh mozzarella & beefsteak tomato with walnut pesto dressing The foccacia was moist and chewy with crusty underside, the vegetables — roasted to perfection, all the flavors worked great together. You can tell this is not your average sandwich shop… the owner used to be a chef(and that shows)…and nothing can«make or break» a sandwich like bread… and their bread sure«made it»! I only wish I lived closer so I could frequent them more often… but it is worth close to an hour drive to truly enjoy the food… and savor every bite. I second everyone else’s post — this place should have lines out the door!!!

Today I had the pork tenderloin sandwich for lunch. Yesterday I had the spicy beef tenderloin sandwich and I couldn’t get enough so I went back today. The pork tenderloin sandwich was the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. This place is a hidden gem and everyone should come here. Tell your friends to come here and savor the amazing food!

Breadbasket, you may be getting a lot of my money! My second day on the job, my colleague introduced me to this little gem, conveniently located very close to my new office. I had the turkey sandwich, which was amazing. We are not talking deli meat here! The turkey in the sandwich was legit, sliced turkey, like off an actual bird, like at Thanksgiving! The bread was also excellent, with hearty grains. I went back later in the week to try their salads. The roasted red pepper and Parmesan salad did not disappoint. The staff here was super friendly and attentive to my nut allergy. I also like the atmosphere. They have cute café tables and an interesting selection of books, including books about bread(ok, expected) and Hegel(not so expected). My only complaint is that they don’t have any espresso drinks. I was sad to leave the Panera near my old job, but this place has infinitely better food. Yay! Also, they have free wifi!

I grabbed lunch from here today and oh my goodness, I think I will be going back on Monday. I ordered the fresh mozzarella and beefsteak tomato sandwich which comes on homemade focaccia. It’s served with a side salad and chips. Sooo yummy!!!

O.M.B.(OH. MY. BREAD.) Seriously? This incredible bread is hiding out in a little storefront in Norwood??? Be still, my bread loving heart!!! Apparently, Breadbasket opened years ago as a little café, then transformed into a wholesale bakery(I believe they supply the bread for Stephanie’s, among many others in the Back Bay and downtown) and are now re-opening the café and you can walk-in for this unreal bread. I just tried a loaf of the multi-grain and it is perfection: dense, chewy… mmmmm.
