Zaxby’s

Okay so this is my first time giving a business one star even though I wish I could give it less. I love Zaxbys but this location is not great. The service was terrible and so was the food. My salads chicken was cold and even the slices of bread that came with it were soggy and tasted less than fresh. I don’t think I will be coming to this location anymore. Not to mention I don’t want to come across the guy in the kitchen winking at me. NO

I happen to love zaxbys. Their chicken and their fries and their sweet tea.
However, the service at this specific one was pretty horrible. The staff was abnormally unhelpful and unfriendly. When asking for no bun on my grilled chicken the cashier was confused and left to allow someone else handle the transaction. When I had to repeat myself and then specify no bread at all I asked for one extra piece of lettuce to wrap it up, the response was «no, we can’t do that. It’s extra.» Didn’t even offer to let me pay the extra charge, just cut me off and ended the conversation.
The best part is I left and then discovered my chicken sandwiched in bread. News flash, a large part of the population is gluten-​free due to allergy or sensitivity, some to the point that they can’t eat food that has touched bread. Thank you for NOT listening to my request.
So please instruct your staff in how to listen to and prepare orders properly and let them know it costs nothing to be nice, somewhat personable, and attempt some form of customer service.
Also, my irritation is t simply with the service. The sandwich itself was made very poorly. The small wilted piece of lettuce that did actually come on the sandwich wasn’t even worth eating and was discarded. But worse, the fries were cold.

Zaxby’s is fast food chicken. The food is very greasy but it always is. That’s the way they do it. If you don’t like that stay away. If you do like it come on in.

I like it. But like I said it might not be for everyone. The sweet tea is great and they use that little ice that is the size of a corn kernel. My son likes the milkshakes but I miss plain ol’ vanilla. If you like Zaxby’s this location wont disappoint.
