Good classic-style restaurant… very few restaurants give rolls & salad(with parmesean peppercorn dressing) with your meal, but this one does… it’s not the trendy italian, but if you want a good classic lasagna, tender sausage, garlicky alfredo, fried breaded cheese ravioli, or chicken supreme(yes it still exists) this is the place for you…

Waited an hour and fifteen minutes for food that was not cooked or cold. The waiter was great and apologizing for things out of his control. Not one of the two managers could be bothered to put down their cell phones and talk to our table. I recommended your restaurant for our party of seven most of which had never been to your establishment and now will most likely never return.

Went there today for lunch, never been and wanted to give it a try. The service was excellent. We were greeted at the door, the manager greeted us at our seat, and then waitress went out of her way to take care of us. The food was good as well. We had toasted rav, which were larger than normal and cook perfectly. Wife had a combo lasagna and sausage, which she said were good. I had the chicken parm, which I will admit was a little overcooked(but not enough to ruin it/make a stink). I attribute that to the holiday. The only reason it got a 4 star was because of the chicken parm. When we go back, if its cooked better, I’m switching my review to 5.

Nice bar/lounge area, several TV’s, nice atmosphere. Food is great. Try Bocce Balls, Pizza, Chicken Parm, buffalo tenders or wings, Cannoli’s! They have been on food shows! Everyone friendly. A nice addition to Hudson! Watch the game or have a nice dinner!

I have to say I am disappointed in many of you in the Unilocal community. I avoided this Restaruant for 2 years because of Unilocal reviews. I finally went today and found I was missing out on very good food. Is this the North End of Boston, no of course not. However, outside of a few Little Italy’s in select cities not much is. Valentino’s gives you that great compromise between very good(northend = great) Italian food and ease of accessibility. I will go back again as my regular staple and then drag the family to the Northend once in a blue moon when it must be 100% authentic.

Went with a group of 6 on a Friday night. Food was excellent. Serving sizes were also excellent. My biggest complaint was the live music. It was so loud we couldn’t talk to the people at our table! And we were on the other side of the wall from the music. The restaurant is on a ass so Parking is fine.

We shared a nachos appetizer — big enough for four. It was loaded and very, very good. Shared a Chicken Saltimbocca on Gemelli dinner and although we couldn’t eat much of it after the nachos, it was very tasty. Host was very pleasant, waitress was attentive and very nice. Pleasantly surprised by a singer who performs on Thursday nights. Sings old, classic tunes like Sinatra and Newton. We’ll be going back, it was a very enjoyable evening.

I give Valentino’s 5 stars for the great bar service! All the bartenders are very friendly and very attentive. They have some pretty great beer specials and the atmosphere is perfect. They have a lot of big TVs with a variety of games on. I have never sat in the dinning room but it seems pretty cozy. Pizza and wings are excellent! I’ve also tried their salads which are great as well. All in all I’ve always had great experiences here and it’s definitely my first choice pick in Hudson.

Had Thanksgiving Dinner for the 2nd year in a row. The staff is incredible, the food is delicious. Susan our waitress was warm and genuine My husband and both had the traditional turkey dinner, turkey, stuffing, squash and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was as good as my grandmother made! There is something about the squash, best I’ve ever had. My daughter had the Italian Trio and Italian wedding soup. She enjoyed the soup thoroughly, and loved her meatballs. She’s 14 so she doesn’t eat much. The first time we went to Valentino’s for thanksgiving it was because they were the only ones that weren’t booked when decided to make reservations last minute, this time it was by choice. We will be back next year!

Food ids great. Everything is good. Service leaves a little to be desired. Waitresses just tell you answers to what you ask and nothing else. Asked for the lodge night menu which is available all the time and out was like pulling teeth. Bar service is excellent. Been here several times and have always had a good meal. Waitresses need a little him in pleasing the customers who are paying. Our waitress today worked her way down to a 0 tip.

I really, really wanted to like Valentino’s. Had my first experience here recently and it all just fell short. The food was really mediocre(though the bruschetta was pretty good), especially for the price. We ordered dessert as well, which was a mixed bag, although the napoleon tasted as though it might be a little old. More than anything though, the service was really bad. Don’t get me wrong, our waitress was very nice, but she’d often disappear for long periods of time, and it wasn’t busy. Glad I finally got to try this place, but really wish it had been a a better experience.

We were pleasantly suprised! We had tried Valentino’s for lunch a few months back and the experience was very bad. We decided to try again for dinner the other night and we were blown away by the difference. Our server did mention a different manager was in place now. The server was excellent. The Arancini was very good, risotto was properly done and tasty. The meals were very flavorful and prepared perfectly. The pasta sauce had some sweetness to it which I love. Even the salad dressing was very good. We will be back again.

This was my first time going to Valentino’s and I was actually impressed, for our app we got the fried claims which were only $ 9 there was more than enough for two people. The Caesar salad was great along with my Ravioli Parmigiana entrée which was very good as well. The sauce had a sweetness which I liked a lot.

I like it here. However this is my «alternate» restaurant. I go here when I am looking for a change. It is never my first choice. Pros: great wait staff. Beautiful inside rolls are always warm AND fresh varied menu Cons: so i don’t have many… however the biggest con for me is that they are an Italian restaurant that makes lousy pasta. For $ 1 a box, my own sauce(theirs is very good) and about $ 5 worth of chicken I can feed my whole family. So why would I pay you $ 15 a person? Their pasta is NOT homemade(shame shame) and it is usually slightly undercooked. My daughter and I stopped by at 5pm. Even though we were the only people in the whole section we got the seat next to the bathrooms and a loud, fbomb dropping private party in the event room a few feet away(loved that they kept coming out to use the phone and standing right next to my table) One woman took pity on us and closed the doors, this made a big difference. We both bought a pasta dish. Her’s with meatballs mine with chicken. Both were good. neither was great. No apps, soda only, no dessert or coffee bill was $ 40(no big deal just giving you an idea) If I am buying pasta dishes I want something I can’t make at home or don’t have the time to do it myself… such as pasta from scratch. I would also love to see some unique dishes. Try something with capers, olives, fresh herbs… toss in some sardines or anchovies or mussels. Italian is so varied why stick with just the basics, Parmesan, Meatballs, Cacciatori, Piccata… this is kids food. They will remain my backup but never my «go to» place. Next time I think I will try a burger.

Had a great first experience at Valentino’s last night. Husband and I ordered fried ravioli which was perfect– it looked homemade and the accompanying sauce was superb. Not greasy, not salty, just right. I had baked stuffed haddock and it was delicious! Great flavor, well cooked, really enjoyable. For sides I had fries and mixed vegetables. I wasn’t a fan of the mixed vegetables as there were peppers in them which always over powers a dish. Husband had chicken marsala and really liked it as well. Good service, the waiter was very friendly and attentive, and I believe the manager came over to check on us and clear our dishes when we were done. It was a nice night out and I’ll be back if we’re in the area again!

Very disappointed in this place. I have been a few times trying to give them the benefit of the doubt as the location is very convenient. Food has always been just OK but the service has steadily gone downhill over the past couple years. However, after they messed up my meal a few weeks ago I asked to speak to the manager. He was actually sitting down in the same section of the dining room having dinner himself. I was shocked. And he seemed frustrated that we interrupted his meal. Sorry but I won’t be back.

Twice I have had restaurant owners tell me I should not criticize on Unilocal but rather to their face so they can correct any problems. They don’t get the concept of Unilocal… my opinion of whether someone should spend or waste their money at a place. You look at all the reviews and you decide. This restaurant is not worth a return trip in my opinion. Nothing bad just mediocre.

As a «townie» we frequent here often. The service has always been top notch. Over the last year or so we have seen the menu offerings drop drastically. For instance prime rib was once a staple has now become an occasional special. In order to get sandwiches in the bar you have to ask for a bar menu, they don’t tell you they have one. We have also seen the portion size and quality drop drastically. The chicken parm has shrunk and barely had any sauce on it. What was once our #1 spot has now become our last resort. Too bad because we loved their staff! It’s sad to watch such a great restaurant go backwards but I get the impression these days that their attention is more focused on Valentinos kitchen across the river in Nashua **Update** After the owners post and several private messages I can honestly say I’ll never step foot in this restaurant again. The days of customer service seem to be going out the window. Too bad, this was once a great place to go

Went here for dinner last night at my brother’s suggestion. After reading Kathleen S. and Andrew M Z.‘s reviews, I was wondering a bit… but luckily I didn’t experience what they did. We were seated right away at 7:15 pm. Place was very busy at the time, and about 95% full. We got our drinks and rolls right away. The rolls are very nice! Had a diet coke for a drink. Ordered the Appetizer combo, which comes with mozzarella sticks/marinara sauce, chicken fingers, and onion rings. As well as a honey mustard sauce. The onion rings were very lightly breaded. Nice! The chicken fingers were very tasty and also lightly breaded. Add the honey mustard sauce… hmm. Very good. The Mozzarella sticks? Not that good. Hot, but seemed like they were pre-packaged frozen before. Marinara sauce was good. For the entrée, I had the Prime Rib special which was a 12 oz prime rib(medium well), and rice for the side as well as a caesar salad. The prime rib was cooked to perfection and had hardly any fat on it. The rice was very good and helped with some of the prime rib’s juices. The caesar salad was decent sized and not smothered in dressing as Kathleen S. experienced. I’d have been mad too if it was. Had some cheesecake for dinner since we were celebrating my brother’s successful back surgery. ;) Excellent once again. Service was decent. Had to ask for a drink refill twice… but overall it was ok. Price was very good! Including the desserts, we spent about $ 25/ea. Not bad! Parking is in a strip mall and can get tight.
