This place used to have the best sesame chicken in town. but not as of yesterday. They changed it to something else. The sweet dark brown sauce laden with sesame seeds has been replaced with a light bland sauce with little seeds. The chicken pieces are bigger, but without flavor. I am sad.

This place used to be a great Chinese food restaurant. However, I suggest you only get takeout from here because the odor in this restaurant is unbearable. It literally spelled like cat pee. I couldn’t even enjoy eating my food because of how strong the smell was and I don’t think I’ll be eating any Chinese in the near future in fear of being reminded of that smell. As far as the food, it is probably your best bet for Chinese food in the area… But it’s nothing special. The sesame chicken combo is a safe choice, it’s actually pretty good! The wonton soup was alright but the dumplings were full of grease. I had to stop eating them because the grease was way too much. Update: the restaurant has been cleaned since my last visit and the smell should be gone, I can not confirm this since I have not been in the area :)

No complaints here. Stopped in to grab a little dinner on the way out of town. Just had chicken fried rice so nothing too involved — maybe next time I’m around. Quick in & out(takeout), tasted great(chicken was better than most I’ve come across in chicken fried rice) and the woman working at the counter was very friendly. Good chance I’ll be swinging back in next time I’m in Hudson.

Spring Garden has bee around for 30 + years. Good food, but over the last year it’s not as good. The food use to be fresh and cheaper. Unfortunately the price has gone up and seems to be processed instead. Still decent but not as good as the past

Don’t go here if you want, portion, customer service and great prices because your not gonna get it … Where do I start, we went there for a change of Chinese and we had coupons that had just arrived in the mail with the friday paper. Ok so we go in try to use our coupons and the guy behind the counter Rudley tells my fiancé «we no take them anymore«no pun intended, the coupons were good till march so what’s the big idea? BAD on there part bec I love the rant and rave about bad restaurants … Ok so then we spent about 40 dollars on take out, combo platters with some other things. For that price we shoulda got a decent amount of food yea? Wrong the portion size was so small we felt ripped off … You can go to food sing, China town and buffet and get tripped the amount of food for that price … My God my fiances combo platter he got season chicken and rice there was 5 peices of chicken on the platter … Needless to say we won’t be going back there … And I like to spread the word around so

Best sesame chicken EVER! Never disappointed when I visit this location! I love how the crunchy noodles with duck sauce and hot tea is complimentary. Not to mention it’s never a long wait! Highly recommend!

This is not the same Chinese Restaurant we have been going to for years with our family. Stopped in today to have lunch and was very disappointed. Spring Garden was always the restaurant our family depended on to have the freshest prepared Asian cuisine. It always stood out from all the other local Chinese restaurants in the area. There was nothing we could rave about today. The standard noodles were greasy and tasteless. Soups, both Hot andSour and Egg Drop were bland and tasteless. The egg rolls were far from fresh and very greasy. Well the Spring Garden is no longer a tradition in our family.

I will try again after hearing from person at restaurant. I didn’t like the Americanized menu. But will try again. Not immediately but soon.

Not a bad establishment for Hudson. The service was good & quick during the lunch hour I went. Very inexpensive. Had the Kung Pow Chicken(even though it was under another name on the menu). I didn’t blow me away but it didn’t blow either.

This is Chinese food as I remember it growing up, red booths and duck sauce and the usual menu. It is pretty much exactly as you would expect – cheap, filling, unremarkable, but good. Order a Zombie and you’ll be fine.

Good chinese food. I never eat inside, but I always remember the food tasting better when you eat it there. The restaurant has a nice dining room with a fish tank and I love that they give you fried wontons with Chinese mustard and duck sauce before your meal.
