Avoid this dump. The bartender tried to charge us twice and was rude when we called him on it.

They do have a fair amount of liquor in here — as they have off-sale which is a little on the expensive side as prices were listed — pool tables and a jukebox system you can hear along with people just drinking and getting drunk — don’t expect too much in the way of service, finesse at making a cocktail, or food. They claim they are pay as you go so we put money out to take from as we went — somehow it did not add up and I believe we ended up paying twice for a couple beers along the way. Which left me a little salty as I called the waitress out on it and she probably does this all the time as her response was not one of shock. It does seem like the type of bar it would be easy to get into a bar fight in. I probably will avoid this in the future and head a little further down the street into Hudson next time i’m thirsty.

Just to get this out of the way Pudge’s is a bar. You go their to drink and socialize with people. Pudge’s high points are their central location, excellent new Patio, and their cheap drinks. To me bars should have friendly competent bartenders but often times that is not how it goes. Many bars tend to be understaffed and then have bartenders that are rushing around all night. If you have not been to Pudge’s recently you have to check out their excellent new patio. They have TVs, fireplaces, and tons of nice lounge chairs. Did I mention they have cheap drinks!

This place was awful. If you want to pay someone to make a Roma pizza for you and practically stalk the waitress for service, then by all means try it.
