Wonderful experience at this great shop! I need to keep a close watch on my sodium and Katie, the owner, taught me a lot about what cheeses would be best, and pulled out a huge file to double check the sodium levels on each cheese we were considering! Do not miss the small containers of cheese from Australia in oil in the refrigerator. Thanks to our other favorite cheese shop(Concord Cheese Shop — pals of Katie’s) we call it Aussie Magic! The shop also has lots of yummy accompaniments to make a delicious charcuterie plate: crackers, salamis, pickles, spreads and dips — you name it!

The staff were friendly and offered my wife and I the option to try any of the cheeses before buying, which was helpful because of my low cheese I.Q. There were also some cheese samples out for the customers so I was able to experience some flavors that I normally would have overlooked. This is a great place to fill a picnic basket. The pâté was decent and the choice of crackers they had were deceptively appropriate for what we bought(they appeared flimsy but held up nicely). The shop is a good addition to the area.

OMG I love this place! I love the cheese box(around $ 10) comes with two pieces of cheese, bread, olives, jam, salami. TODIEFOR. It’s too close to my office that is the problem. I would recome mend!!! 100%%%% if you love cheese, get a box and head down to Medusa for a beer, or bring home to your wife and she will love you!

Always about supporting small businesses and LOCAL. Sometimes to disappointment. Not Mullahy’s…none here. Lovely shop and owner/staff. Great selection of cheese too!

Every yummy cheese you could imagine! Katie lets you try different kinds, and there are tasty crackers, treats, sweets, gluten-free and more. I’d recommend getting a sampling and then bringing down to Medusa’s.

It’s hard to talk about a cheese shop(or cheesemaker) without referring to Monty Python, but I’ve already done that. There’s cheese! All kinds of cheese! Yummy cheese, mild cheese, sharp cheese, soft cheese, hard cheese, stinky cheese. The cat has NOT eaten the Camembert. Kate has charcuterie, olives, cheese-slicing and serving implements, and pretty much anything you might need or want to satisfy your cheese-craving needs. But no bloody bazooki player(sorry). I obviously don’t know how to review a cheese shop, but this one clearly has a job to do(purveyance of cheesy comestibles), and it does that job impeccably. And if you really don’t know what cheese will fill that gaping hole in your life, Kate will help you find it, make sure you taste it, and then cheerfully wrap it up so you can take it home and eat it.

I wanted to be the first«townie» reviewing the digs… but 3 others beat me to the punch! One word — L O V E L Y! Lovely owner, lovely staff, lovely shop, lovely cheeses. Affordable. And not just cheese — chocolates, bread, jams, crackers, gifts. We went with a 12 year manchego, aged gouda and some goat for our dinner cheeseplate. But you can get so easily lost in cheese… Goat, cow, sheep. Funky, salty, mild, buttery, gooey… whatever you fancy. And the owner is a DOLL! A DOLL I TELLYOU! GO now! Taste, talk and buy. Cheese head heaven!

Have bought cheese here since the store has opened weekly. The owner, and her staff are so knowledgeable, and happy all the time. The prices here are unbelievable as well. I will continue to come here as my only stop for great cheese. If you’re in the area check it out!

Great new cheese shop in downtown Hudson near the Rail Trail Flatbread Company. The owner is very friendly and will let you sample any of the cheeses and make recommendations. Large variety and great selection. A great find!

Great new store, right in town. Great selection of cheeses run by a Certified Cheese Professional(the real thing!). She knows her cheese. Very friendly, locally owned small business. The«snack boxes» are a handy little treat. For the ride home too!
