The bartenders are older, which is nice that its not a place to go and ogle the poor bartenders. But the one guy might need to lighten up a bit and smile every once in a while. We know its busy, and we will wait for your service, no problem. But you did over charge my credit card. Not a huge deal, and I hope it went into tips. Overall, I enjoyed my time and will be back.

Good bowling. A throw back to the 50s type of place. Great prices.

Cheap drinks, great atmosphere, old school, no cosmic bowling or anything like that, it’s a total dive that is a cheap date spot and a lot of fun!

This place has been around for sooo many years. I think it was the only thing to do when I was growing up here. You will definitely have to know how to keep score as this is old school with paper & pencil. But if you want inexpensive bowling & cheap drinks then this is the place to go. The staff is friendly & recently went on a Sunday so there was no problem getting a lane. Scored another crowd cut deal so got 2 games, a pizza & shoes for $ 17. Pretty sweet deal, but even if you don’t have one it’s inexpensive fun.

Hudson Bowl has great owners and FREE Texas Hold Em on Saturday afternoons at 1:00. That’s why go there and the cheep beer and smoky atmosphere!

This place is a DUMP! My wife and I, with two friends, went out to have a good time and we had to keep switching lanes because they kept breaking! The lanes are not taken care of. The place stinks with smoke! The blond bartender was a total B*±h to all four of us. I am much older then 21 an they tried throwing me out because I didn’t have my I.D. on me AFTER they gave me a drink without asking for my I.D. They were all VERYRUDE! None of us will ever go here again! Hopefully, you won’t either, it’s not worth it.

The Hudson Bowling Center is the last of a dying breed. There are very few businesses that so consistently provide you with exactly what you expect to receive. Cheap Bowling? — Yes. Cheap Beer? — Yes. Second Hand Smoke? — Lots of it. Carpeted Walls? — You bet. A great time with your friends? — Hell yeah. The HBC has resisted the trend towards electronic scoring and ridiculous black lights. You come to the Hudson Bowling Center to bowl and to drink Leinie’s — nothing else. This ain’t no place to pick up chicks(though some have tried). This is a bowling alley. Long live the Hudson Bowling Center with it’s manual scoring, machines that have a tendency to break, and local clientele. It makes me sad to think of bowling anywhere else.
