Amazing service and manager Sarah had the 2 for $ 20 steaks and they were amazing keep up the great work.

We went here for dinner. The service was ok. The waitress was very forgetful or maybe she had too many tables. I’m not sure. The food was good though. The main reason for the three star rating is the place was freezing! As you looked around the restaurant you could see most people were still wearing their winter coats. The manager on duty should have taken notice.

Fast friendly service today! Waitress was great and very pleasant, helped with the menu even kept our coffee and tea fresh and full. Manager stopped by making sure everything was good. Way to full to try a desert this time hopefully next time!

I don’t know why I keep going back here. I’ve had the worst food & service than any other restaurant. Just when we think they are turning things around, we go and have terrible service & our waiter lied straight to my face. I ordered wings from the bar snacks menu and a side of cole slaw, at first my wings weren’t what I ordered so they fixed them, but I never got the cole slaw. Then the price listed was $ 5 on the menu… but when our bill came I was charged $ 9.99… When I asked why there was a price difference, our waiter told me that you only get them for $ 5 when you order two or more items from that section. Today I went online and did a carside to go order and sure enough my total was $ 5 plus tax. Don’t waste your time on their over priced, mediocre food and lying waitstaff.

Oops, I apparently posted my last review from May again… I meant to post a new, updated one! Anyway, I was here a few weeks ago and wanted to point out the continued excellent service we receive every time we are here. It’s a testament to the management that continues to do a great job training their staff. Well done, Applebee’s Howell!

Good food and great service. The new Grilled Lemon Chicken from the Pub Diet menu is very good. The Fiesta Lime Chicken was also very good. Kelsey was a good server… very pleasant and attentive.

What on earth? Are they growing the food back there? The service is inexcusably slow. The servers are inattentive at best. And the portions are a bit small for the price

service is deathly slow, and appears there is poor management going on because the management is present but is oblivious to what is going on around them! Have been in there a few times. While we were sitting at the bar(the only ones!) we had to wait while the bar tender strolled around at her own pace. Another couple came in and left due to being left too long waiting for a drink. On this visit the management were conducting some kind of staff meeting in the bar at a table, while eating and drinking. One wait staff was serving food with her coat on. Another was counting her wads of tips and divvying them out in piles right next to me. A kitchen worker came out and had someone pour her a large beer to take back. Tables were left dirty for at least 20(even the management meeting table was left in a mess) they certainly weren’t busy or under staffed. Don’t get me started on the food. previously have had variations of cold, late and incorrect orders I felt like an unwelcome guest in someones house! Utterly hopeless so we tried the Irish pub across the street and they can’t even cook a burger GOODGRIEF!!! first one was raw second attempt was squashed so flat to make sure it was cooked it was a joke I think TEAM Schostak need to get a grip of their business asap… maybe do some secret shopping and get some people in who know how to manage a restaurant

They still don’t get it! Servers are poorly trained(or maybe don’t fit as a server position) Hot soup came out totally cold! Had asked for some crackers with the soup but was forgotten twice! Had to get the host to get me some hot soup as server was not around. Finally got the hot soup but had to re-ask for crackers. When sandwich and fries arrived there was another soup, this one hot – sent it back. Server was totally oblivious as to my issues. If you order soup and an entrée you will always need to tell them that you want the soup first or you will probably get all at once and you will need to decide which gets cold first! I will probably not go back but do like some of their entrée.

My family, husband and two kids eat here approx. once per month. We ate here last night, our bill was $ 40.00. I usually like my steak here, however this sirloin tasted a little like bologna or something. It had a weird consistency. The waitress was very pleasant. Baked potato was good. Overall it was an ok experience, not over the top and I do wish I would have gotten the chicken on the 550 cal. menu.

This review is kind of different. We like their carside to go but we do not like eating in. Carside to go the food is great and we get it at least once a month. Nice portions and fresh. Always good. Eating in, however, the service is ALWAYS bad and we have kids. You would think they would know what beverages they would have for kids, besides sode, and they never do. Never know what juices or milk. So we just have gotten water, but overall the service is bad if you dine in. So, we just don’t!

Whenever I go to this Applebee’s, the wait is at least 20 minutes. The food is always disappointing — the waitstaff never knows the drinks you’ve ordered, or they bring you the wrong thing, insisting that it is what you’ve ordered. And yes, this sounds like I’m talking about one trip here. No, I’ve come to this Applebee’s at least a dozen times over the past ten years, and I’m consistently disappointed in the waitstaff, and the food. While you’re in the lobby, even if you don’t feel like sitting in the smoking section, you’ll get to experience it because the smoking section is right next to it, filling the lobby with wonderful amounts of second-hand smoke. It makes for an unpleasant dining experience. If you want a dive-bar, go to one — don’t go to this Applebee’s expecting a better meal than that though.
