We love this place. From service to the amazing food. Their seafood salad is the best I’ve ever tasted. And believe me, we order this salad almost every where we go. The waitress as well as the hostess make sure that everything and everyone is happy.

Visiting a friend in queens(wood haven) and he took me here Comfortable and cozy clean dining room very friendly and attentive service The special was shrimp bisque I ordered a bowl and it was delicious great flavor my only complaint is that I wish it had larger shrimp I ordered fried shrimp and the breading was a tad thick but tasty I had a salad and it was very good although I did not care for the olives but your mileage may vary The fresh hot bread provided was delicious and I could have eaten the entire loaf My friend had the seafood salad and it was great. He ordered a clam appetizer but they did not have any Next time I try the pizza!!!

I have been here a few times and grew up in Broad channel, so i ma well aware of this location, to start off most of the sauce is very acidic, the pizza is horrible, some of the dishes are ok, not very well prepared. Recently had the zucchini sticks, the breading was not held properly, it looked like a amateur job, and attentiveness was so so. It is an ok place i guess but frankly, there are better options if you can hold out.

Loved the meal and service, but they charged 2 dollars for a fountain soda. With no free refills We spent 8 dollars on 2 sodas for two of us. Just wish we would of known.

The meatball parmesan hero nearly made me sick. Not appetizing at all. Their pizza is mediocre. Any time I’ve ever gone to order/pick up pizza, the dining room looks dingy and there’s rarely any customers. Sad, they used to be good.

Service sucks. Food meh. Come on $ 22.75 for a seafood platter that contains 4 clams and a few other fishes that I could make out of a TV Dinner? I had some chicken, sausage, broccoli w/rigatoni and a side of vodka sauce. It came out looking like they got the chicken from china town. It was steamed but good. I mean come on, why you can’t you just grill some chicken. The sausage was just butterflied– chop those babies up. The vodka sauce was watery and resembled left over grease from the top of the sauce you make at home. For 4 people it was 96 bucks. The waitress was kind of mean not rude. Handing me my plate with a look if disgust. Give me a break lady, if you hate your job so much go work in a library, I’m sure they will be happy to have you. Since were such nice people we gave her a $ 24 dollar tip. Portions were rather medium sized.
Come here for slices and ices w/the kids. The tartuffo balls are pretty good though.

Love the food.!! The service is rarely good.!! And the dining room needs to be cleaner. I always have to return silverware and the tables need to be wiped down better. I would come a lot more often if these problems were fixed.

Pizza is good, but I sat down to eat and ordered the chicken cacciatore, it was ok for a simple dish they could have made it so much better and there marinara sauce isn’t all that good either

My family loves Lenny’s Pizza for delivery and eat-in. The casual atmosphere is perfect for us after my boys finish their soccer games. My wife and I usually order chicken Marsala and the baked clams. My sons are pizza eaters and they love Lenny’s. The prices are reasonable for the entrees and appetizers.

Pizza was good-attitudes have a LOT to be desired… especially with pizzerias on every other corner of the main road here.

Service was so bad we walked out before we even got our appetizer. By that point we were sitting for over 30 min with only water and butter… no bread. .jus butter. Meanwhile, people that came in after us were being served with all smiles. Icing on the cake was when our waitress who didnt even greet us threw napkins on our table by throwing them over my shoulders. There was no way we were going to spend any of our money there. Horrible. …

I wish we could give half stars. I really wanted to give Lenny’s 3.5 stars. First time at Lenny’s and they made a decent first impression. I ordered delivery this time. They sounded busy but the order got to us pretty quickly. I had the Veal which was ok. A little chewy but good nonetheless. The sauce was good. The pasta was good too. The best tasting dish I had was the brocolli as a side dish. Throughly cooked and was fresh. They don’t take credit cards for deliveries. I will be back to try out their pizza.

Very good all around. Meals. Pies. It’s not much more than a pizza place with some nicer décor. Very clean. Service is good. I live all the way on the other side of Queens and I have made the trip here a few times.

Good pizza and very good chicken dishes. Parking on the side usually has a spot open and no meter to feed. Wait staff is very friendly. For dinning in or a quick slice this is one of the better places around.

A solid four star experience for me. The pizza is almost always good and fresh, and I am a fan of an interesting slice now and again. They have good chicken rolls, fried calzones, and I like their regular slices the best. The restaurant part is also pretty consistent as far as service and food. It can get a little crowded in the evenings or weekends, but I typically go at off times. Garlic bread with mozzarella is always good and the chicken parm is also always good. Fresh hot bread is also nice. The prices are reasonable, a little cheaper than most Italian restaurants in the area. The only thing I hate is that dam parking lot.

The pizza is not good at all… but the rigatoni alla vodka is OUTSTANDING… certainly the best I have ever had. The chicken franchese is also excellent. The waitresses are always attentive. Go here for the food, not the pizza.

Been ordering from this place since the 90’s! Food has always been consistent and delicious and delivery is always fast. Everything from their pies, chicken roll, sausage rolls to the entrée dishes are all amazing.

As a fixture here for many years it breaks my heart to write this review but to warn off my fellow Unilocalers I must. I ordered the chicken cacciatore and the chicken parm and both seemed a bitt off. The chicken cacciatore came out and the chicken was hard and un-chewable.The chicken parm was above average but tuned out to be a disaster as well. We told our waitress who was incredibly nice and she sent it back immediately to the chef. He brought out another dish of the cacciatore but the damage was done. He admitted the chicken was not right. It turned out that I was food poisoned. I am vomiting my guts out as we speak. To make matters worse I gave the restaurant a courtesy call and the lady on the phone was rude and gave me the most insincere sarcastic apology in the history of apologies. Lennys as a fixture here for many years since the days the qzar was right next door I am afraid to say I will no longer dine in your restaurant. When you pay 13 – 16 dollars for a dish I do not expect to have chicken that was too hard to chew and frozen or something that will make you sick . Stephanie, Its always great to see owners use this forum as a way to gauge their patron’s opinions and I certainly appreciate your response albeit it two months later. But Stephanie yes I did read the sign outside before I walked in so I did realize where I was dining and it was Lenny’s. Your chef absolutely did bring out the replacement pasta as he seemed to be very embarrassed for the travesty he served me earlier and it seems as he was not aware of «(as per New York State Health Code and the Department of Health Food Protection Course)» As for your advice on speaking to a manager … I did call the store and spoke to the apparent manager. The manager who might have been yourself told me in the most insincere matter possible«sorry». What I should have done was to call 311 and report the food poisoning incident which I will in the future. Stephanie it seems everyone who posts a negative review about your restaurant seems to be writing a review about the«correct business» … Stephanie I assure you we Unilocalers can read and ill cross my fingers that no one else gets sick… fingers crossed :)

Reviewing Pizza by the Slice/Broccoli Pin wheel: The last two times I stopped at Lenny’s I focused on the delectable, fresh slices that are on clear, eye level display. The colors of the ingredients at Lenny’s seem to have such a vibrant, fresh appearance.(greens-reds-whites, the color of the Italian flag) The broccoli in the pinwheels are so perfectly spiced with garlic and oil and fortunately differ from most pizza parlors pin wheels. Lenny’s are thick and chunkier rather than flat and compressed. Literally they are the size of two hockey pucks stacked atop one another. To my pleasant surprise, the Pin wheels were the best item I have had from Lenny’s(that is off the counter) this day. The regular slice had the finest, crispiest crust I have had in a good while, but there was much open space where the cheese missed its mark, my Sicilian slice suffered the same fate as well. Both slices were average, again the missing cheese was the main issue, but had excellent potential. with the sauce being so perfectly balanced. White slice(ricotta) was quite enjoyable, so smooth and creamy, heated to a perfect temperature which is key to that particular slice. Warming up slices that have different ingredients in hundreds of degree oven, takes a little skill. The pepperoni slice was initially raw cuts of pepperoni on a completed pie of slices, when placed in the oven the pepperoni did not get as crispy as I like, without burning the regular cooked slice. All of the other slices looked very enticing, but with all of the Entrée’s on the menu, especially the 5 options of veal, pasta’s and seafood, they will just have to wait. Clean as a military barrack inside and out, service was on point and prices were totally reasonable. (3.5 stars)
