I am a total novice in wood working. I went there for some books to get started. The gentleman behind the counter was very accommodating and friendly. I expected very high prices due to specialty tools but the items I bought were very reasonable.

Woodcraft specializes in tools and materials for specialty wood work. You’ll find just about any high end tool you are looking for here and at a reasonable price. The staff is very knowledgeable and usually friendly.
I have had one instance where an employee got smart and sarcastic with me when I didn’t know the name of a specific tool I came in looking for. It wasn’t funny and I didn’t appreciate it one bit and I let him know that. In the end I received no apology, no have a nice day, no thank you for your business, or anything, I actually stood there looking at him waiting for this. I was tempted to talk to the manager. Instead my better judgement took over and I just left. This guy gave me horrible customer service.
I’ll have to give this place a neutral review for now. We’ll see how I get treated when And if I go back in to buy my Powermatic table saw.
