This place sells fake jewelry. I bought a wedding band sold to me as 14k solid gold. Turned out to be gold plated and turned my husband’s finger black. I had a jeweler test it. He said it was plated. Took it to a pawn shop where an acid test was done. They said it was plated. Owner is rude and hostile and impossible to deal with. He admits the ring came from them but refuses to stand by his guarantee and return my money. The ring is a good fake. It passes the magnet test and the inside looks gold, but it isn’t. It is some kind of gold looking metal. Because they are in Willowbrook Mall, I made a bad assumption that they were honest jewelers. Lesson learned. Buyer beware!!!

They replaced the battery on my Marc Jacobs watch for $ 10 while another place at the same mall was charging me $ 20. So far it’s still ticking :)

I had them removed a few links from my Seiko automatic watch a few days ago and later noticed that they didn’t remove the right number of links. So I returned to the store today and asked them to add one link back. They ended up damaging a third of the links and adding a bunch of scratches on the rest of my watch. At first they pretended nothing happened when they handed me back my watch. I noticed that the links near the clasp(on both sides) were all damaged, and the link added was like dangling on one side. I showed it to them. Before I could say anything further, they took it back rudely without saying a word and worked on it some more. They ended up damaging the rest of my spare links and handed everything back to me without saying a thing. When I asked them what’s up with that, they started ranting about how hard it was to resize it because it was a cheap watch. They were acting pretty aggressively, so I just left with my damaged watch quietly. Well I know they only charged a small fee and my watch wasn’t a Rolex. But I would appreciate their honesty if they could just tell me that the watch was too hard to resize or it didn’t worth their time given how much they charged. These people are real jerks.

Yes, he repaired my gold Coach chain. Yeah, it was only $ 15, and took only 20 minutes. But now my necklace is 2″ shorter than it was. A bead and a length of chain are missing. I returned to the store about an hour later to show him that one of the sections was missing. He agreed it was missing, but said it must have been like that when I brought it in. Why someone would take a length of gold-plated chain is beyond me, but I absolutely believe that’s what happened. Be very careful with this place.
