After dealing with the rude guy working at the Kroger pharmacy next door, we ran over here to get a prescription filled. It took 10 minutes and was $ 13 cheaper than how much the man at Kroger said it would cost. Not a huge issue, but they did seem to need another staff member working in the pharmacy. Otherwise though, they were polite, quick, and efficient. I do see many negative reviews here. Maybe people expect too much, maybe I caught them on a good day. All I know is, my experience here was good.

The worst pharmacy in the world. This walgreens has misplaced my prescriptions numerous times and never offered a discount for my lost time and discomfort. I once told them I’d take my business elsewhere and a pharmacy tech laughed at me.

I like Walgreens. I don’t know why exactly, but I always find stuff here that I need… and by need I mean really want. Yummy candy and snacks, new nail polish, lots of makeup, etc. Typically I just come here to pick up my prescriptions, as I love the convenience of being able to pick them up 24 hours a day, because it always seems like I can’t get there between 8 – 5. So that is definitely a plus! Everything else is higher priced than other places, so that’s not so great, and sometimes the lines are long, especially in the pharmacy area; that’s one of the reasons I don’t shop here on a regular basis. Especially with Kroger pretty much right next door. The people are usually friendly, but because of the high prices I don’t really go here much, but when I do, it’s almost always a good experience!

This location is pretty awful. I am new to the area, and I haven’t needed a pharmacy since I’ve lived here until now. When I first walked in, I was greeted nicely, and the retail area seemed well stocked and clean. Because of this I was unprepared for the disaster that is the pharmacy. First, they are obviously horribly understaffed. It was a Friday night at the only 24-hour pharmacy around and I only saw two staff member in the whole place. Also, after I went through the whole process of giving all my information I was informed that they were severely backed up and my RX would take over 3 hours. My RX was for pain meds for dental work, and I was in obvious severe pain. The tech let me go through that whole precess, and never let on that it would take so long to get the RX filled until it was too late. Not cool. It’s the only 24-hour pharmacy that i know of in the area, so for and emergency it’s my only option, but for a regular RX, I will NEVER go here again. That’s sad, because I always used to use Walgreens.

I wouldn’t even give a 1 star if that was an option. You mean to tell me Walgreens doesn’t take tricare? You don’t take a military insurance or veterans of this country? Why the F do we fight and suffer for this country to have garbage like this. Thanks and no thanks Walgreens for supporting your your military and veterans. And you still can’t figure out the tricare issue Walgreens? Guess what my family will never get meds from you again or my distant family. You have a problem with tricare military and veteran insurance well hell you should of figured that out in 1942. Dirt bags.

Walgreen’s at this location should be investigated for extremely poor management. We have been customers at this location for many years, 10 to 15 years, probably since the store was built. We have used this location primarily because of its location and the fact that it is open 24 hours, just in case we have an emergency. No more! The pharmacy drops the ball every single time. The only question is which way they will mess it up. Here are some of the more frequent problems we have. 1. We call to see if a prescription is ready, only to be told they are out of the medication. This happens on about 50% of our prescriptions. Do they have any employee to maintain an adequate inventory? 2. We call to see if a prescription is ready, only to be told that it did not go through on submitting to insurance company, but find out they coded it wrong. They never check their work. They never check with the insurance company. This happens even with refills, where the insurance company clearly processed the prescription one month earlier. 3. We submit coupons(some pharmaceutical companies send emails for discounts) and find out later that Walgreen’s didn’t give us credit for the coupon. We have our payment information on file, and we assume Walgreen’s is honest, but have found out after the fact that they never processed the coupon. They overcharged us $ 60.00 on one recent transaction. 4. Pharmacists claim they never got a prescription from the doctor’s office, but, when we call the doctor, we are told it was submitted electronically and they give us the exact date and time it was sent over. We then have to call Walgreen’s back and tell them that the doctor has proof they submitted the request. 5. Walgreen’s prescription information is printed out in about size 4 font, almost too small for anyone to read. If that information is important, like what to avoid while taking the medicine or possible serious side effects or signs of allergic reaction, you probably would not know because reading the printout is next to impossible without a magnifying glass. Try CVS at the corner of Bay Area and El Camino Real. We did. So far, we have not had one glitch. They are only open until midnight, but this has not caused us a problem. We decided that if we have an emergency after midnight, as a last resort we will take our business back to Walgreens. At CVS, the pharmacist actually volunteers to discuss each medication with you. WOW, the Walgreen’s pharmacist hasn’t offered to do that in so long, we actually forgot that is how it’s supposed to be.

The pharmacy here is horrible. I wouldn’t give 1 star but since I have to… I took in a prescription and the girl said it wily be ready in hour and a half. I go in 2 hours later only to be told that they don’t have the meds in stock but would be available after 5 the next day. I go in the next day AGAIN to pick up meds after 5. After waiting in a absurdly long line(obviously they are not staffed properly) they say they STILL don’t have the medication in stock! I did not get ONE phone call from them either trip to notify me of this! Then as I’m giving the employee a piece of my mind, the pharmacist sits there and lets his employee get it instead of stepping like a boss should and handle the situation. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

If I could give a half star I would. The only reason I come here is because it’s 24hrs. Otherwise I would go to Kroger. This walgreens has the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had the misfortune too wait in line for. After being told my meds would be ready in 45 minutes. I went to eat dinner an hour later i went back and after waiting in line for 15 minutes they tell me it will be another 15 minutes. This has happened to me multiple times. I had to leave without my medicine. Next time I will go to Kroger of I ever get this prescription filled

I can’t complain. I usually deal with photo department, and they always works with me if I have an issue. Overall, pretty good store to shop.
