Have been in love with Voss Creamery for years! They do the best job adding the toppings of your choice to your fro yo by making a well in the center. Genius! None of your goodies spill out while you’re digging in! Keep up the great work, guys and gals.

Came here because my friends always talk about the tofu soft serve ice cream. Was not disappointed, the ice cream was supperr good, light and refreshing. The atmosphere is cute and homey and the staff was friendly and let us try samples. Will definitely be back!

So my mom and I went to this place on a Fri night. The reason I gave them 3 is for their smoothie(Otherwise, I’d have given them 4). My mom ordered a smoothie with 3 fruits, mango, peach and blueberry. What she got was a cup full of a white and creamy mixture with purple dots(blueberries) that tasted nothing like peach or mango or blueberry. When we asked them that did you put any fruit in here? They said yes, and we mixed it frozen yogurt! She wanted a smoothie not frozen yogurt with purple dots! I ordered a small bowl of ice cream with a coffee flavor, don’t remember the name,(smthg express) and raspberry. Coffee was REALLY good. I’m an expert in coffee flavor ice cream and I tell you this was one of the good ones. I’m not sure if I’m going back to this place. Defiantly not for a smothie, but for a coffee flavor ice cream, yes maybe!

I don’t know what which was more amazing, the friendly service they provided or the ice cream itself. The staffs were very friendly and patient with my friends and me as we kept asking to try for different flavors before making our decision. Super sweet, intense flavors! You can tell that Voss Creamery put a lot of thought and love into their ice cream and yogurt.

I LOVE frozen yogurt and have traveled many places for great frozen yogurt– the very best I ever found is in NYC until I came across Voss Creamery about 7 years ago and have been hooked every since. It is always fresh, clean, friendly and reasonably prices. It is low fat, low sugar(and sugar free in some flavors) low in calories and does not sacrifice taste. The yogurt has less calories than TCBY, Menchies, yogurt land, etc. Some flavors are as low as 10 calories an ounce– nowhere else has that! The staff is so sweet and will educate you if you have any questions! I am hooked!

All you need to know is peanut butter soft serve and you will be set. 10 years later and I still haven’t tried another another flavor…

Staff are really friendly! 3 stars already just for that(+3 stars). Now while people complain about this place not making their own ice cream(–1 star), why not try the yogurt flavors they offer then? Those are homemade. They have really good Tofu(non-dairy, fat free) and Peanut Butter(reduced fat) yogurt(+ 1 star). It does sound less appealing when it’s fat-free, but trust me, try them out for yourself to see how good they are — before ordering straight from the ice cream machines. They even have sugar-free flavors for those worrying about too much sugar intake. And those are not bad!(+1 star) Their smoothies are a plus. Non-dairy, real fruits(+1 star). Why not Voss? They totally beat other yogurt and smoothies place I’ve been to. That’s why they deserve a 5 star.

The husband and I decided to check out this place since we were craving ice cream and didn’t want to drive fall. We ordered two scoops, peanut butter and some other coffee flavor. The peanut butter was too sweet for my taste. The coffee flavor was a bit better. However, the texture of the ice cream was anything but creamy. I almost broke my plastic spoon trying to dig through the ice cream. The store is a bit old and like someone mentioned, looks like an old TCBY. We sat outside on a Wednesday night and that was nice. I probably won’t return back to this place.

My family just came here after finishing dinner. My husband love their ice cream, I tried some yogurt and impressed their«Tofu» flavor. It was so good. Their smoothies were so good as well when being served with real fruits and yogurts. Recommend to everybody.

So some friends of mine wanted to get some dessert after a nice dinner in Spring Branch. They didn’t feel like driving too far for ice cream but this place was on the radar that’s not a typical big ice cream chain shop. However, once we walk in, you can also tell it used to be a chain shop but now it’s just serving Dreyer’s ice cream, one of my least favorite brand. But the good news is that they also have yogurt with«TOFU» flavor, which is really like Asian style soy milk flavor. The price for everything is really good, so it’s definitely a good place to go if you’re in that area and wanted something cold and sweet. The serve was good as well. Other than that, it’s nothing special as they don’t make their own ice cream and none of the crazy flavors like some of the newer ice cream shops that’s inside the loop.

Not many places have banana smoothies/milkshake, really good! They make it with tofu yogurt and it adds really interesting taste. Also they got Legos to play with in the back haha

I don’t get what the hype is about. This isn’t a creamery – It’s a run down old TCBY that went rogue and is now watering down their fro-yo mix making it icy and awful. Not gonna support a local business for the sake of it. Some places just need to go and make room for better stores.

I usually don’t say anything if I don’t have something good to say… that being said. Creamery? Really? It’s Dryer’s ice cream. Couldn’t make a malt. Huh? Don’t waste your time.

My girlfriend loves frozen yogurt so I took her here to conclude a date and we were thoroughly unimpressed. With all of the self serve locations popping up, this is a throw back to older styled ice cream shops. The décor was out dated and the selection quite small when it came to frozen yogurt. We tried a few but decided to leave and save the money. Mediocre at best with too many options near by. as far as ice cream goes they serve dryers which you can buy at the grocery store. C’mon man! That’s amateur.

Voss Creamery will always be my go-to as long as I’m in Houston. Does it have the frills, crazy toppings and weigh stations like the fad-born froyo shops all over the place? No. Is the yogurt good? YESH! You have to try the tofu yogurt smoothies(I didn’t think I liked tofu soft serve either, just trust me on this one). The cookies & cream yogurt is amazing but they don’t always have it. When C&C cannot be found I default to peanut butter or coffee — normally with a little heath or reeses mixed in. That’s good stuff people! If you are looking for ice cream this probably won’t impress you since it’s just Dreyers, but I can honestly say that I’ve never been presented with a choice between soft-serve and hard ice cream that I didn’t go with soft serve. Try it!

Always good to support a local business when you have the choice of local vs. chain.(Marble Slab is nearby) They have less ice cream flavors than Marble, but make up for it in froyo if that’s your thing. Definitely has a local ice cream shop charm and great place for a quick scoop.

I have legit been craving Voss for the past two weeks and I finally satisfied my craving not too long ago. And man, was it amazing! I’m literally obsessed with all of their flavors, particularly cappuccino and tofu. I know what you’re thinking, tofu yogurt? REALLY?! YES, TOFUYOGURT! I’m not even a fan of tofu itself, but this tofu yogurt has got it going on! It’s bliss in a cup — and for me, a kid’s size cup is more than enough. Their sizes are huge and a kid’s size(only $ 2!) is usually the perfect amount for me, and a small is MORE than enough. They also have pre-packed tubs of yogurt you can take home and put in the freezer for later, which is deliciously dangerous. As for Voss itself, it tends to be a middle/high school hangout sometimes since Kinkaid is so close. However, there’s plenty of seating for a small yogurt shop and the owners are super nice. They also have punch cards for customers that are really worth it if you come frequently.

We arrived late on a Friday night so I understand why the server wasnt the friendliest, but honestly it got to the point where I almost felt like I wasnt welcome. I just kept reminding myself that this was just a high school kid wanting to go have fun on a Friday night. There were a lot of different flavors of ice cream and frozen yougurt! I got the mocha chip in the kiddie size and it was good. It wasnt anything I couldnt get at the grocery store, but for a quick dessert with nice outdoor seating it was worth it.

I tried almost every froyo place, and this humble local ice cream shop is the only place that makes me to keep coming back. I’m addicted to the peanut butter froyo, one bite and I’m in heaven!!! ! I always get the kid size cup(less than $ 2) and that’s enough for one person. They have basic flavors along with tofu one, and they don’t have that typical tart taste of other froyo. They offer wi-fi but I wouldn’t recommend hanging out here because it’s not that cozy. Though I hope one day the friendly owner would spruce this place up…
