What can I say about an African American ran barber shop that is willing to cut an Asian’s hair? Only good things! The people here are pretty much borderline stoic to friendly. I usually have Jeff cut my hair who has the caliber to be an owner but has decided to be on and off here for his personal clients. Business has gone downhill since I last visited about a year ago and it does not help that there is a trashier than sin«pool hall» next door on the left where at any hours past 2 a.m. you can get alcohol thanks to T.A.B.C looking the other way, Parking is ample unless your trying to park here early Saturday or Sunday morning because all of the spaces will be taken up by the said«Pool Hall» where you will find sleezy disgusting prostitutes and very drunk patrons, don’t believe me? Try finding a spot to park on a weekend morning and watch the circus that goes on as the patrons crawl out barfing all over the side walk zombying their way past the barber shop. You will be hard to find a definite opening time since you canot go by any«open/close» time signs so it’s probably about word of mouth when they want to come in. There is a television you can watch… or hear if your getting your hair cut and probably about a dozen or so chairs to sit at while you are waiting for your turn. If you ever try here, definitely ask for Jeff, you won’t be sorry. ========================================== Tips to new Unilocalers: You will usually get more of an interaction with the Unilocal community and your reviews read if you can at least change the«orange head» avatar that is your default avatar for something else, it doesn’t have to be a pic of you if your that shy but anything there will hold a status more enticing to read your reviews since now it doesn’t seem like there is only a robot behind your new account.
