Convenient, as you can see. Toasters is just as bad they it is. Had a breakfast yesterday, this is my second time here because the first time when I went here was like 10 weeks a go or something. Banana Fosters is just not that great, everything is just okay. Onion rings are okay. Toasters is just okay.

Would have rather gone to Denny’s for pancakes. Sucks you have to pay before you eat. Also, self serve drinks… and bottled orange juice? Ridiculous. This was an «eh» experience and would not recommend going.

This placed sucked! I ordered a classic platter, with sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a biscuit. Everything tastes like it was fried in fish grease!!! Seriously. The biscuit was full of butter/grill grease. There isn’t any place to park. And waitress was rude. They should just close the establishment. I didn’t want to give them a single star but it was necessary to complete the post.

The banana pecan foster French toast is good and enough to share. The shrimp and grits could have been better. The grits weren’t creamy as I’d like it to be and the shrimps were overcooked.

Gorgeous breakfasts. Large portions – breakfast sandwich on sourdough delicious – fantastic sausage on it. Fluffy buttermilk pancakes. Friendly and fast. Great coffee. Very casual, beautiful art on the walls!

2 stars, as the staff was attentive. Breakfast was just subpar. I ordered a waffle and eggs. The eggs tasted a bit like they were from a powdered mix, and the waffle wasn’t memorable. I wouldn’t recommend.

I really enjoyed this little joint. 4 stars because of the overall cleanliness was poor, not the tables and dinnerware but the walls and floors were pretty filthy, just made me hyper aware of how unclean the kitchen could potentially be. We waited too long for our food, but they were packed and made it right with great customer service. Food was amazing, my Belgium waffle was perfect. We will be returning on future visits to Houston.

Food was exceptional… presentation was great, flavor was exceptional. I really enjoy the small details about this place such as the scripture on the receipt. Perfect touch! I’m definitely coming back

Food is amazing! The portions are huge and everything was cooked perfectly. I would give this restaurant all five stars, but the service was a little slow. But it was definitely worth the wait!!!

Really? 4 star average right now? Dirty place, flies buzzing around, unclean dishes, utincils, and cups. Forgot to make our latte drinks and had to remind them after they served our food… We were one of the 10 people in here and it seemed that they forgot that they served anything but basic coffee. The chicken and waffles with strawberries had one strawberry cut up. Only pluses are the people are friendly and the chicken was decent… Waffles tasted and felt like hotel waffles.

I wanted to like the place because the employees were all so friendly, I hate to rate it poorly. Unfortunately, I have to rate it on more than the staff. The food was OK — the eggs were PERFECT, but the pancakes were not(and its hard for me to find a pancake I don’t like). The coffee was disappointing. They were out of silverware(which you get for yourself). I had to ask for more. They were out of cream for the coffee. The little cups for the syrup were all sticky(as if they had not been washed). The toast was very good.

There was just too long a wait for breakfast. We were there for over an hour before getting our food. Just wasn’t that good to be worth the wait. Plus the service was terrible, and they kept running out of coffee.

Ate there this morning. I got there just as they were opening up. Reportedly the waitress had yet to come in, but the gentleman that was taking the tables outside greeted me with a smile and showed me in to order. I came in on previous good reviews for the first time, and didn’t really know what to order. He graciously helped me pick out a breakfast burrito(THATWASFANTASTIC!) and placed my order. The restaurant was nice, clean, fun atmosphere, staff was very welcoming, and the food was great!

YupYup… a hidden jem(downtown area). GREAT, sections for breakfast and lunch. The bananas foster, blt or heartly county Breakfast Seating is first-come first-serve, so you will make some new friends Food/price ration is excellent… i can again.

Atmosphere was a little too quiet for me, just awkward. Something about the place didn’t seem clean to me and the staff was not friendly. Food was not that good, only ate here cause I was starving after a flight and wasn’t sure where to go… if I knew how it was I would have skipped it.

Good food but 53 minutes from order to getting food. That’s a problem. It doesn’t look busy from the outside, but it’s deceptive. It’s busy! We walked in, ordered within a few minutes of standing in line and sat down. Good thing we weren’t in a hurry! It was 53 minutes from when we ordered until we actually received food. I asked one of the runners about our food and he came back not long after with our food. I believe we wouldn’t have gotten our food unless we asked. We watched one couple stand at the counter waiting to order for over 10 minutes to no avail. The service here has to be fixed. The food was good. We had breakfast food(eggs, bacon, french toast), nothing that should take more than 15 minutes to get out to the table. I would give this place another try because the Bananas Foster french toast was yummy. VERY sweet, but very good.

We tried Toasters for the first time and were very impressed with the food. We ordered the pancake breakfast and bananas foster french toast. We could barely eat half of our plates because of the huge portions– so make sure to go hungry! The pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had and the bananas foster french toast was out of this world. Highly recommended for a low key but delicious place to eat!

This is such a cute, local, little spot to check out when you’re in downtown. Brought my dad here for a quick lunch the other day and we both loved it. He ordered the barbecue chicken sandwich with a side of fries, and I got the turkey burger(I love me some turkey burgers!) with a small fries. My dad said his sandwich was very tasty, and my burger was flavorful and juicy! My only complaint is for the staff: they weren’t very friendly at all. No greeting or anything, just a blank stare until we started ordering Hence, the 4 instead of 5 stars. But other than that, we had a great experience. I’m sure I’ll be coming back!

Interesting little hole in the wall restaurant in downtown. You pick up a menu at the front counter and order there, when your food is ready they bring it to you. I got the peanut butter pancakes, didn’t want the eggs so I asked if I could substitute for something else and was told no. Went back to the menu to look for a different item, then was told I could substitute the eggs for hash browns. Why I wasn’t able to from the beginning I don’t know. The girl at the counter wasn’t what I would call friendly, but the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hash browns were burned and raw all at the same time, so it didn’t really matter. The pancakes were awesome but next time I will leave out the peanut butter chips, it was a strange taste combo. I will try this place again, but I will leave the peanut butter out.
