Happy New Year! I checked in on Unilocal as reminder to write a review for this booth in the Galleria. They’re located on the second floor of Galleria IV outside of Urban Outfitters. My boyfriend bought a watch off of Amazon and needed it to be resized. I thought Nordstrom would do it for free even though we didn’t purchase the watch from there, but they rejected us. They wouldn’t even let us pay! We ended up at Times Square. Dropped the watch off and they told us to come back in 15 minutes. Came back, paid $ 16, and left. A few hours later, pins starting falling out of the watch. Turns out they didn’t put the sleeves back in properly. Sleeves are little metal circles that keep the pins in tact. We went back a month-ish later and they were very apologetic and fixed it. We’ll see if they really fixed it… Basically, if you are desperate, Times Square is alright. But as you can see, they can do a sloppy job sometimes. At least they’re willing to clean up their own mess! EDIT1÷9÷2015: Watch fell apart again. Third time’s a charm, right?

When I dropped off my watch to get fitted I was told it would be 10 bucks if I paid cash. When I picked it up they told me it was 15 and if I paid 10 it was a deal. When I got home I realized that they did not line up the links and the pin wasn’t holding the links together. When I called back and told them about my problem they told me that they don’t do that kind of work.

I was desperately searching for a watch that I wanted. …The Unit by Nixon. lol for my Doggy Father’s Day present. I looked at Nordstrom and got a load of attitude. My partner looked on the manufacturer’s website and found out they were carried here. The sales guy was a little«enthusiastic» for my tastes but nice nonetheless… sorry, there’s a fine line for me. lol They had two cases full of the watches I wanted, so I had a large selection to choose from. We got the watch and were on our way in a jiff… A-OK for me.

One year for my birthday I bought myself a Givenchy watch and I wear it all the time. The battery died earlier this year and I kept putting off replacing it for no reason other than laziness. Anyway, on a recent trip to Houston I was wearing my watch(yes, the one with the dead battery) and my friend noticed that it had stopped. At that point I had to play it off like I hadn’t been walking around with a nonfunctional watch for last few weeks. Later that day we were in the Galleria and I stopped at the first place I saw that replaced watch batteries. Okay, I don’t know WHY I put this off for so long because it was completely painless. I walked up, handed the guy my watch, he gave me a claim ticket, and I came back to get it in 15 minutes… all for only 16 bucks($ 16.18 with tax). This kiosk is located in Galleria IV upstairs right after you come up the escalator(going away from the Westin). They also had some pretty nice watches for sale and lots of them were on sale. Nice combination.
