Worst Bbq ever. Staff pushy food dry the Turkey leg made my son sick they put to much vinegar in the greens and had no clue about the Unilocal deal or the false advertising on Unilocal.The pictures posted are not from their restaurant at all. When I tried to talk to the manager she told me I was wrong and thats how it was supposed to be then put her bare hands in the food wouldn’t do anything to fix it but offer more of the same food that made us sick

This is one of my favorite places. Traditional southern BBQ! The baked potato is my favorite! It was certainly delicious and the service is amazing definitely a great place ! Best BBQ, in Texas !!

Good barbeque, with great conversation from the chopper. Yes, the man chopping our meat, actually came from behind the counter (after completing our order), to discuss Sunday football games and life with us. Talk about some good customer service, call me friendly but as I was eating my sand which, because I was too hungry to wait to get home, he and I discussed football as we refilled my sweet tea. The beef will open up your sinus, so please ask for mild if you can’t digest the flames of hot, and my bun was soaked in sauce just the way barbeque should be.
The baked potatoes, eaten by my family could have used more sauce, but you wouldn’t have been able to tell by the empty containers that they disposed. I can’t vouch for the taste of their sides, but I can tell you, you shouldn’t be disappointed by their barbeque. Great job!

Me and my 3 coworkers ate chicken, brisket, and links w/​macaroni and potato salad for lunch today. It was pretty good…7/10 for me but I’m from Texas. The BBQ sauce is slightly sweet with a tangy taste but in my opinion not near thick enough. Nice brisket and decent sausage. The macaroni was OK. I would recommend it I guess but not if a Demeris BBQ was close by.

I live in the heights and got lost. I somehow ended up at on Tidwell and so my bf and I decided to take a chance at Thomas BBQ. Really looked dated from outside/​inside but what hec. Most folks in line were all getting the beef chopped baker so I got one. UT was HUGE! for $ 7 I couldn’t believe the amount of meat they give you. It’s got to be about half a pound. I’m more used to Spring creek bbq where they give you a small topping of beef but Thomas loads it up! Big plus for a carnivore like me. As for the taste, I got mine all the way and I have to say that this was the best beef baker I have had! The sauce is very tangy with a smoke flavor and brings out the flavors and so I actually went back half way thru to ask for a bit more. My bf got the 2 meat plate with brisket and pork sausage. I like the way they have a deep smoke in their brisket and very moist. (Ask for the tender brisket vs lean). Their pork sausage was really good too. Very flavorful with spices and black pepper — again great w their sauce. I have to say that this is my new favorite place near the heights area! I’ll be bringing my coworkers next time!

First off the in-​house made beef links are outstanding. The rest is all right. My only complaint is this location seems to try and run the business in too chincy of a manor. I don’t like begging for a napkin or piece of bread.

Not worth stopping in. meat is decent and all the sides are soupy: greens, beans, slaw, bread, .all of them. At least they’re open a little later

We stopped at this place for a late lunch, about 2.00 pm, there was nobody in line but we still had to wait for a cashier to show up, so our food was nearly cold by the time we made it to our table. My husband ordered links, they gave him ribs. I had to ask them to heat most of our sides, and they overheated my sons noodles. Food was ok but I will not go back. Poor service.
