The Parking Spot 2 at Houston Hobby

All drivers I have encountered are friendly. The locations is close to the airport, This locations is cost effective.

Normally have very good service at this parking spot, until today. We parked our car here for a weekend and upon leaving were not given the discount for the coupon we handed the cashier. To reconcile this issue, the cashier told us she would give us 2 free days on our next stay. She wrote and signed the note on the coupon and gave it back to us. We stayed again for a weekend and upon leaving gave the cashier the coupon with the note for free days. We explained to her the situation from our last stay and why we got the discount in the first place. She called over the manager to get it OK’d and he said ‘don’t give it to them, she (the previous cashier) shouldn’t have done that.’ I’m not sure how it becomes my issue that the cashier gave out a discount she wasn’t authorized to. I should be able to have good faith in what the cashiers are telling me. If I continue to park here I will definitely make sure any issues are corrected at that point in time.

Giving this location a 4 only because there is no covered parking. Other than that this is a good spot to park. It is directly across the street from the main terminal and very accessible. Upon drive up they tell you which row to park in then wait for the driver to come around. Remember to give them the two digit location of your row. Upon exit they offered a bottle of cold water. I don’t expect anyone to be anything close to polite, helpful, caring or nice when dealing with airports. But Dominque offered us water, told us where to find coupons for next time and wished us a good night. Somebody give her a gold star.

Location is great — very close to airport. Nice friendly drivers & attendants. We always park here & make sure that we reserve ahead of time… especially during holidays!

Since switching allegiance from the evil United at the big airport (IAH) to smaller Southwest at the small airport (Hobby), I had to find a different parking vendor since my go-​to one at IAH didn’t have a lot at Hobby. My trusty boring AAA Texas magazine had an ad for this chain and I used the coupon (who doesn’t like saving money? If you don’t, come sit by me and pay my bills.) to try them out in the summer.
They were so good that I used them again for a recent trip to the Nanny State of California and I’m pleased as punch to say they are still good. You can find coupons on their website, sign up for their frequent user rewards program, and make a reservation. The current rate is $ 7.50/day but you can score 10% off easy by scouring the internet for a coupon.
Parking highlights (since I know you were on the edge of your seat for this):
1. Once signed up for the free rewards program, you can reserve a spot for free. (Who pays that $ 4.95 reservation fee by the way?)
2. The Parking Spot 2 differs from Parking Spot 1 in that it is all uncovered. I didn’t mind being exposed to the rain since it is a good way to get a free car wash.
3. This lot is conveniently almost right across from Hobby but no one wants to lug their bags across non-​glamorous Airport Boulevard.
4. The shuttle service is prompt and picks you up in a well-​coordinated ballet between the entrance gate agent talking with the drivers via walkie-​talkie.
5. The drivers were both eager to help load and unload bags if you need that.
So, if you’re a parking aficionado, come get your jollies here. If you are just interested in a decent place to park your motorcar, it can work, too. Enjoy!

Great experience! They had the best prices around so I gave em a try and I’m happy I did. FRIENDLY service, convenient location, helpful and courteous staff, frequent shuttles that drop you off at your exact location. Highly recommend this business. Bravo!

Will never use this lot or company again.
My vehicle was parked here from 7÷22÷15 through 7÷28÷15.
Upon returning to my vehicle I find that my catalytic converter had been removed from my vehicle.
I was given a claim number for there insurance company. Who then told me they are not responsible for loss, damage, or theft.
So beware. If you leave your vehicle is in this lot, IT IS NOT SAFE.
Now I’m out $ 52 for the parking charge and another $ 3000+ in parts and labor to replace my catalytic converter.

Could not believe how well my trip went. Found parking, shuttle was at my car before I was even out with bags and straight to terminal for drop off. Pick up was a Sunday night after holiday weekend, I was worried… walked out shuttle was pulling up. They helped load my bags, filled bus and back to car. No problems at all! Completely happy and they took my coupon with out any problems. Great job to all! Used this place several months ago too and no problems then either. Thanks Parking Spot 2!

I park the Parking Spot whenever I travel but there’s definitely a difference between their Hobby location and their location at IAH.
The Parking Spot 2 does not have any covered parking area, and you usually have to wait for shuttle buses longer than usual to take you to the airport. Their arrival service isn’t as efficient as IAH as well. Last night it took them 45 min to pick me up and drop me off after I called for a pick up.
Their staff is very friendly and their fees are affordable, but this location does run efficiently and it might be easier to park at the airport parking lot.

This location is well-​priced, convenient, and easy to use. My friends and I left a car here for a week ($ 7.50/day), and they gave us clear instructions on where to leave our car and how to find the shuttle.
The service was friendly, and they gave us a card with our parking row to give to the driver when we flew back. All in all, it was a simple experience, just as we had hoped.

I use this Parking Spot all the time! Airport parking doesn’t get any easier than this, y’all.

I am probably like most people. If you do not want to spend $ 20 a day to park inside the airport you park here. I hate the fact that you can get in from a flight and have to wait 20 minutes at arrivals to be picked up… Service is bleh… Personnel is bleh… But it beats paying $ 20/​day, so I keep using it. Probably the cheapest outside parking at the airport, in every sense of the word.

It’s a nice paved, gated parking lot. Shuttles were quick, a five minute wait at most. All the employees were nice and courteous. But, you pay the highest per day here.
I reserved online and paid a $ 6 convenience fee and for a guaranteed space. Didn’t need a reservation as they didn’t care. Plenty of spots available on Thursday.
I had a coupon for fifty cents a day off from them. Big whoop, but it was going to add up to $ 2.00. It’s hard to get excited for a coupon for 7% off. Upon check-​out, the lady said the coupon was valid on Parking Spot… not at Parking Spot 2. She told me to read the «fine print». I am baffled why there’s two exact companies with a nominal «2» to distinguish them.
In a nutshell, it’s a okay place. Just don’t get Parking Spot confused with Parking Spot 2.

Loved!!! I think most of these reviews are when a different company owned it. I enjoyed my experience. Everyone was very friendly and I was given a free cold bottle of water for my ride home. My car was just like I left it. Cheap and great!

What a crap place. Downloaded their directions which could not have been more wrong.
If you can’t put correct directions to your own lot you should be out of business. Will never use them again.

I like this airport parking lot!
The premise is located very close to the airport so the shuttle ride there is relatively short (About 5 minutes or less without traffic). The shuttles are frequently roaming in the parking lot and the airport shuttle exit, so getting to or from Hobby Airport is never an issue and is usually a quick affair. Prices are reasonable but if you take advantage of their discounts, it is even more affordable!
Solid airport parking service. I also like how the shuttle driver will write you a card for your car’s parking spot so you can give the card to the next shuttle driver to quickly get to your car when you return. Did I mention free water?

Hobby is not my fav and i have my routine down at IAH with EcoPark, but my GPS let me to the Spot while searching for Eco and i simply had minimal time to search when the address/​phone # was cryptic and non accessible– so i figured «hey, why not?»
The sit was the usual… Park (smaller lot than Eco at IAH and shortly after i got in the Lot Full sign went up. It was a holiday weekend at 5am– so this is probably not the case errday, but it was fine. Found a parking spot and a shuttle soon after. The drivers have a method to make sure they get thise who have been waiting longest first. The drive is about 3 minutes. Of course they give you a ticket with your parking spot locale to have handy when your back. Its a tad mor exp than Eco Park at IAH, but there are coupons avail somewhere. Upon leaving the cashier was pleasant and offered me a bottle of water. The Spot is OK in my book.

The low reviews probably shouldn’t be included on here since they were from when this was a different company (Avistar).
Plenty of parking spots, average price (make sure you print out a coupon from their website), and they offer a rewards card. Unfortunately you have to request the reward card on-​site and can’t request it online. So if you do park here, make sure you ask for the spot club card when you’re checking out.
The shuttles come fairly regularly.
They also give you a complimentary bottle of water when you check out.

AviStar is now called Parking Spot 2 and I have no complaints about this place. I made a reservation online for three days for only $ 20 not bad it is $ 6.25 a day.
When I received the email of confirmation it gave a few instruction so there won’t be any inconvenience with your experience with Parking Spot. The instructions are; make sure you present your reservation voucher to the attendant before entering the parking lot. Without your voucher you will end up being charged twice. When parked the bus driver that takes you to the airport will give you a ticket of where you are parked. When you come back from your trip make sure you have your ticket so the driver can take you directly to where you parked. The last thing is when you are ready to leave the parking lot make sure you have your voucher and the ticket that was given to you. Without your voucher you will be charged twice. I like when companies give you detailed instructions, because it is well appreciated by the customers and it will prevent any inconveniences.
Our driver was very nice and he got is the airport and back quick and easy. The whole experience was stress free and my recommendation is to make your reservations online it is quick and safe!
