This was wack, I took time out of my day to come and check this out and it was anything special… I stayed in my ride… Baylor Street Art Wall in Austin, TX is where it’s at… maybe my next trip out here I might see something better

Back in 2013, after getting overdrugged and having multiple adverse reactions to the same drug prescribed by a doctor from the Woman’s place I found myself feeling a lot different than my expected behavior(this is why I cannot trust doctors as they will try to ruin your life). I found myself parked out in front of Kingspoint Proper(original name) that old Christian daycare center I was a student of back in the 90’s. On the outside there was beautiful murals, but on the inside it was pure magical! Just my vibe, already tripped up, my body felt at peace with hearing my kind of music being blasted loud. A guy DJing House, Electronica, EDM, Ambient, Progressive, and Garage music. My parents old maroon couch sat side by side with sprayed painted on. I danced a little to the music and toured the art. All throughout the building there was graffiti everywhere lots of bright and beautiful colors. It was amazing! I hadn’t seen anything like it before. This is when it wasn’t formally owned, lots of potheads and druggies just relaxing. It felt like I was in Amsterdam or a British club. it was wow! Everything was beautiful! After leaving on a bad note of threatening to call the cops on the drug heads, some young kid with pretty eyes calmed me down and we drove around. After a year in 2014, I came back to visit the Proper for their annual art show though the inside was boarded up. it was also taken over by a new owner. He was a fairly older individual, but had the love for art. Unfortunately, he died in the same year I discovered him. Ever since then the Kingspoint Proper has been gated up and has no trespassing signs. If you dare, try to find a hole in the fence and explore the backside of the place you will find lots of extravagant and extraordinary graffiti art. you also might find some homeless people that won’t bite or hurt you. just don’t disrupt their shacks. It’s definitely a peak to see.

Must go for all art and photography lovers in Houston. Great place for some strobing photos at night or an afternoon of street cred. The place is behind one of the ghetto-est strip malls in Houston. These might be menacing street artists practicing their skills-but don’t be afraid. They were actually very warm hearted and friendly.
