My humble request to all of those considering moving here. DON’T!
However you should move here if:
1) You think roaches and bugs are cute — they have plenty to go around. Good luck getting them to take care of the problem. If you don’t actively work on keeping them out, they will find a way back in.
2) You don’t mind your apartment getting wet from time to time — water loves showing up in different forms. Leaks in the bathroom ceiling, leaks in the kitchen ceiling, leaks coming from back of the fridge, leaks in the bedrooms. Lost a TV to a ceiling leak. Had tons of groceries thrown away on multiple occasions due to leaks in the kitchen.
3) You are home by 8PM everyday — Otherwise you will not find parking ANYWHERE inside the apartment. Have fun parking at the Kroger across the street. This is not an exaggeration, just swing by the apartment after 8PM any day of the week and you can see it for yourself.
4) You like noisy neighbors and love their noisy kids — Good luck sleeping if any day during the weekend. Good luck going to sleep early any day of the week. Kids are running around UNSUPERVISED all day. This is even worse in the summer.
5) You don’t mind getting robbed. Multiple neighbors have had their homes and cars broken into. The problem is getting better but occurrences are too abundant to be considered a safe place to live.
6) You enjoy the smell of other people food at odd hours of the day. The place smells like ethic food in general but the smell is more potent at certain times of the day. It wouldn’t be so bad if this was just in common area, but that’s not the case. Enjoy the curry scented musk your home and furniture will adopt soon after you move in.
