NEVER again will i come here for a pedi! You pay $ 20 for them to remove polish, clean, cut and re-polish, THAT’S it! Or it jumps up to $ 30 for the things that normally come with a pedi, foot scrub, leg massage, etc. Then she wanted to spray the quick dry but i stopped her and asked if extra $$, yup, $ 2, WTH! They want to nickle and dime for everything! 1st and LAST time coming here!

The only reason I am giving this place more than one star is for its convenience to my house and the nonexistent wait time(or need for an appointment). I’ve come here over 10 times since they opened, and never leave fully satisfied. I keep asking myself why I come back but it’s solely because it’s a 2 minute drive from my house and am desperate to get my nails done. Manicures are usually pretty sub-par and I’m able to spot multiple errors immediately. I really would not recommend getting French manicures here, I’ve received a disproportional paint job on multiple occasions. However, I will admit they do an okay job on painting the toes themselves even though the scrubbing and manicuring of feet is never sufficient. I have no comments as far as the cleanliness of the salon, it seemed fine enough to me but I didn’t look closely. Overall, if you have the time to drive elsewhere then I suggest that you do so.

I went in on a rainy day because it was the closest to where I was. Two staff members helped with manicure and pedicure. While I’m used to staff speaking in a foreign language and seemingly laughing at customers, it was obnoxious/over the top at this establishment. Customer service was lacking/no concern for my comfort or quality of service. They wanted to charge me extra for things I’m accustomed to getting free(such as quick dry). Also, the nail polish used was of poor quality and not only chipped quickly, it looks cheap on the nail(runny/spotty). Lastly, even the cut of my nails were not even/clean. The pedicurist was friendlier than the manicurist, though. That was nice.

If I could give them no stars then I would. My white tip nail didn’t reach from side to side and they seemed annoyed when I mentioned it. I had to tell the other lady to rescrub my feet. My sisters pedi was sooooo uneven the white line was a mess. Also they left the clear coat on her toe skin. F–

I come here quite a bit for a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. I get the basic which used to be $ 25 and is now $ 30. They do set a timer, but they don’t just stop when the timer stops — as opposed to another review on them. The place is very clean and they have a wide variety of colors. I’ve never had a bad mani or pedi.

After going in for a mani/pedi I was shocked at the price. Then after paying the $ 2 fee for drying drops my nails smudged as soon as I got home. Now a day later my toes look like they are smudged. Not going to be a repeat customer! Only went there for convenience. $ 61 later and I’ve removed the polish from my nails and am heading back to Texan today to see if they will fix my toes. Will let you know…

Let me start by saying I have not had my nails done here. I got permanent makeup. My eyebrows. I had to wait for the lady who does the permanent maybe 20 min as she was not there. They called her in for me. The lady was very nice and when she found out I was also a nail tech she offered me a job. Kinda strange but ok. I went to the back room and told her how I wanted my eyebrows. She made them so high and arched with a marker I told her to take them down a bit. So she fixed them. It was kinda scary but she made me feel at ease. She let me look again and I gave her the ok to start tattooing. They came out very nice. When the scabs came off maybe about 4 – 5 days later I did notice one of them was a little bit more narrow in the front but she said I could come back to get fixed. I didn’t end up going back I don’t remember what came up. My eyebrows look good to me and they seemed really accommodating. As for the nail service there I don’t know since this is all I’ve had done here. My experience was not bad with them

Love this place! Actually walk out relaxed, as opposed to my last nail place. Helen is fabulous!

So bad I would NEVER go back here! Here’s why: 1. Place is filthy dirty 2. Women will push the shillac nails on you like none other — I was asked 5 times if I wanted shillac, and that is not an exaggeration! 3. Manicure is ok, nothing special and you have to wonder if you’re getting germs the whole time

Went in for a quick, simple color change(brought my own color). I will not opt for anything else there because it is not clean enough in there for me. The one time I did have a pedi there about two years ago, lukewarm was as hot as the water got and the tech did a mediocre job. Today, instead of removing the base coat I came in with, she buffed over it first, the polish was applied too thick, no quick dry offered or applied, I had to ask the tech to remove the polish the tech who started the polish application left on my fingers, and the UV light drying area did not include fans so two nails smudged 10 minutes after I left. No frills. Odd décor choices. Strange mix of staff and polish choices. No smiles. Lots of nods and blank stares. I heard several people coming in for refills, so maybe that is what they are good at. If you have time, try going elsewhere

Received a basic spa pedicure. It turned out great and has lasted. No complaints!

First time here 2.5 days ago. Sandy nail tech. Rough with fingers. Job done isnt good. On two nails nail is lifting. On entire right hand white wasn’t painted on right side of nail very efficiency looking like it was done by amateur. Came back to have her re-do but she’s not here today. Offered to come back tomorrow. PROBABLYWONTBEBACK. If it was my business I’d have fixed the customers nails right then. I mean it’s bad enough I have to come back once but twice. Never mind. I’ll not be back here again.

I got a basic mani with very simple zigzag nail designs on 2 fingers and it was $ 27. The quality of the nail polish and design isn’t all that great, either. The nail tech kept pressuring me to get shellac and a pedicure, which i didn’t want(and i kept saying that). I don’t get my nails done often, but won’t be coming back here when i do.

They have no business being in business at all. They rush through the manicure it’s painful and half assed. I’ve given them several chances to redeem themselves but it didn’t happen. They don’t listen to what you’d like and they don’t pay attention to how rough they are on your fingers. They. Two nails were crooked and I got a fungus twice because the wouldn’t make sure my nail wasn’t lifting at the top after I asked them to. They do a shitty job on the shellac, it’s never as shiny as it’s supposed to be. I’m so done here and will never be back ever!!! The only reason I give it one star is because there is one really sweet younger lady with short hair and a bit shy, she’s so sweet.

I wanted to like this place since it’s so close to my house but I will never be going back. Both times I went the staff was very rude to me. The second time they were so rude that I decided to leave. I needed a manicure so bad for a bridal shower the next day but I will not give them my business no matter how bad my nails looked. Worst service!

Not impressed at all. They rushed through the pedicure. The 2 big toes smudged right away, I work nearby so I went the next day and they quickly redid the 2 toes that smudged, they left nail polish all over my toes and left them to dry. Worst pedicure experience I’ve had. I could have done a better job doing it myself!

Have been a customer for over 2 years. It’s a nice and clean place and all of the ladies are nice. It’s a little pricey but they do a really nice job.

The women are very rude. They talk about you, sit and laugh at you while your trying to relax. Very uncomfortable experience. The worst part is that you know the implements aren’t clean. I’ve worked as a nail tech and we would have been fired if we didn’t autoclave our implements before using them on a guest. This place is a Heath hazard. My toes looked fine and the guy was very gentle and I appreciate that but I will stick with Ella nails from now on. Not to mention one of my smaller toenails is starting to lift away from the skin! This has never happened before and if didn’t happen until after I tried this place.

I’m not a fan of this nail salon. I have been here on three occasions, once for a pedi, once for solar nails and once for eyebrow waxing. Each time I had to wait in the lobby for at least 5 minutes before being seen. Each time I was directed where to sit without so much as a hello or how are you or even a smile. Each time I had to wait even more for the chosen service to be performed, including a time of soaking my feet in the water for 20 minutes until it got cold. This last trip for my eyebrows was so disappointing. I went in with a smile on my face and patient enough to wait in the lobby. About 10 minutes later the front desk clerk told me they were ready then went back to his paperwork. I had not had any waxing done there before so I had to ask where I should go. With a point and a nod and moving on back to his paperwork, I made my way to the back of the spa and found the waxing room. There was a bed with dirty, stained linens on it. Oil spotted paper lined the filthy linens. I sat on the edge of the bed awaiting someone to help. About three minutes later, a female entered and sternly told me to «Lay Down».(«On the dirty bed?» I thought… but then gently laid myself down.) The lady, whose name I don’t know because she never introduced herself, slapped some hot wax onto my skin and quickly lathered it around my eyebrows. I then began to pray that I would still have decently shaped eyebrows when this event was over. She took the cloth and began to place it on my skin and peel it away. Using the same cloth she did all of one eye and then went to the other. On my right eye, she got some wax stuck in my eyelashes. On my left eye, she got a big glob sutck on the top of the eyebrow arch and she began to roughly wipe away while I cringed in minor pain. Who likes having their hair pulled?! Not me! And yet, after I said my ouch, she said sorry and continued in the same manner. I waited about 15 minutes to get these puppies waxed, but the waxing took all of 2 minutes. When she handed me the mirror alerting me that I was done, I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. It actually looked decent, a bit thinner than I’d usually go. And as I’m staring into the mirror, she comes flying at me with a pair of tweazers right onto my eye, trying to get a long, stray, black hair that she had somehow missed. If this was a race of the fasted eyebrow waxing ever, she would have won(but only if they didn’t count any of my waiting time). Each time more costly than other local places, rude & unfriendly service, work done«half-ass», and no communication or even a pleasantry. I decided that three times is enough to write off this place as a «No Go». I’m not going back.

I stay pretty loyal to my two(yes, two) rotating nail spas, but i came here with a gal pal who wanted me to check this place out. She warned it wasn’t the fanciest place, but it’s in the same strip center as Plonk! Wine Bar — the perfect pre– and post-nail spa hangout. The place is actually pretty adorable with its pink, purple and white décor. Not quite boutique-ey, but more of a «little miss muffet» type of cute. The ladies are *very* friendly, and they have a good selection of gel nail colors. I brought in my own polish for my toes, because I have my favorite neon pink that no one carries! If you’re looking for a quick mani-pedi, Texan is your spot. Halfway through my pedi, they started on my gel mani right as I sat in the giant spa chair. I never knew that was possible since you need the UV gel light drier — but Texan has a portable/cordless OPI one, so I was able to sit in the same pedi chair the entire time and get my fast manicure. And it was fast. Before I finished my glass of wine, I was completely done. So why the three stars? I mean, friendly, quick service — and my nails look good. Well to start with, I wasn’t asked if I wanted my nails shortened and reshaped. I always forget to tell the nail tech, but they always ask. So since they worked at a good pace, I only realized when they were done. Ah well. Honestly, that wasn’t too big of an issue. #firstworldproblems But most of all, I was pretty surprised with the price. I’m a firm believer in «you get what you pay for» — in most cases. There are some bargains out there. And $ 57 for a gel mani and deluxe spa pedi ain’t bad at all. …But the quality of the pedi was NOT deluxe. It did include the paraffin wax and a hot stone massage; but the hot stone massage was pretty non-existent, the paraffin and foot scrub/exfoliation also didn’t do anything for me either. In this case, I think the price does not reflect the mediocre service. I actually pay a few bucks less at my regular salon — and it includes an 8-minute foot and hand massage. If they did a price adjustment — or upped their mani/pedi service — it would be worth it. Til then…
