We are very happy with our service. Since signing up for Terminix, we have not had any problems. It is nice to live in a safer environment now.

The previous one star reviews might be about Terminex not being able to eradicate bugs, but this is another absolutely worse issue. This company CHEATS their customers. The technicians would come to our house and hang a tag on our door saying that they completed the service… when they don’t show up. We have a gate into our backyard that requires someone being home to open the gate. The technician said he’d come between 10 – 12, never showed up. Next, between 3 – 5, never showed up. I was outside taking out the trash, doing yard work around 8 pm. Then at 8:15, I hear some rustling at the door… It was the Terminix guy hanging the service completed tag on our door. Our gate was freaking closed. No treatment at all in our yard. My wife has been on the phone with customer service for the past hour and half. They keep hanging up on her, putting her on hold. They are cheating customers out of real service. We will definitely cancel this joke of a company. *** update: 10 days later, Terminix sent some other guy out. He haphazardly sprinkled stuff around the house. My wife confronted him that our regular mosquito guy has the big backpack on and sprays very thoroughly, and there’s no way he’s done in less than 5 minutes. Then the guy says that his backpack is in the shop. Wtf? If you can’t do your job, don’t come and do a crappy job! We are not only canceling the service, but we have to request a refund for what this terrible terrible company does. 1) expensive, 2) never on time, 3) very poor customer service, 4) doesn’t get the job done — that’s an understatement. I honestly hope that this company goes bankrupt. What a joke.

Um, this would be a great company… if they would get rid of the bugs!!! I’ve been a loyal, faithful Terminix customer for 8 years. I pay over $ 500 a year for their quarterly ant treatment, which guarantees I won’t see ants in my house. So today, I have thousands of ants in my home, and I call Terminix. Next available date for me is 5 days away!!! Seriously??? I pay $ 500 a year, for 8 years… I’ve paid them over $ 4000 and I have to live with thousands of ants for almost a week? Are you freaking KIDDING me??? I spoke with a supervisor, who was just as unfriendly and unhelpful as the initial person. I then called All Houston Pest Control. They were here within 2 hours!!! And my ants are gone! Oh…the Houston Pest Control guy went around the outside of my home… I had huge ant mounds ALLAROUNDMYHOUSE, which he took care of. So what have I been paying Terminix for???

I had a dry wood termite treatment contact that provided unlimited spot treatments. I finally gave up on them because they began to stall by first sending an «inspector» to verify the termites and then get back to me on a treatment appointment. Dry wood termites are easy to spot once you’ve had them, and even the treatment techs told me that the inspectors should have treated the same day. Seems like they are happy to take my check for the annual contract, but the area manager doesn’t want to make the service easy to use. I’m going local instead.

Terminix is absolutely terrible. If you make the foolish decision to deal with them, then be fully prepared to have them completely blow off appointments and then do some random reschedules without having them call you and then blow those off too. If I could give these clowns a negative ratings, that would still be too good for them.

By far one of the worst companies that I have ever had to deal with. I stuck it out with Terminix for 2.5 years and not once did they ever show during the Window that THEY provided for me. Most recently I was scheduled for a quarterly spray during a 8am to 10am window. Long story short, 1pm rolls around and no one has shown up or called. So I call the national number(yet again) to inform them that as usual no one has shown or at least called. I was then told by customer service rep that my service had been rescheduled to the following Monday without my consent. Listen, if you are in the market for a pest control company, stay clear of Terminix. Their lack of respect for their customer’s time is ridiculous and when you bring it to the attention of their retention department they shrug it off and offer a $ 5 discount on your quarterly bill.
