Horrible experience. 11÷28÷14 Andra Lee A R and B singer was not paid to perform and everyone which was only 15 people pay $ 15 did not get the concert they were expecting. By midnight people where leaving. The club would not take responsibility for this. They charge my credit card twice which they did void out but they serve margarita from a frozen machine for $ 8. Where is the good liquor my friends? They have got to pull it together. Get rid if those terrible chairs have them reupholstery. A solid print will work better all-white would do well. Get better alcohol in there. Have your employees have a dress code. And the lady at the front desk needs to have a more pleasant personality. She has to remember customers are always right no matter what. The customer experience always falls on the lap of the club owner not a promoter. If the promoter can’t pay a performer then the club owner has to do it in honer to make their customers happy. Just always remember if you want to keep a customer then be responsible for their experience. Just sharing.

Can’t believe they charge $ 10 admissions? The drinks are $ 8 and up(cr’ay) served by the rudest bartenders ever. Well not all if them the guy at the bar near the restroom, ass charged me $ 2 for a damn cup of ice! Lots of soulful old schoolers, dj talks way too much over the music, and most people stand around the dance floor spilling drinks making it undanceable, if thats a word. Seems like they could upgrade their sound system too, the music is loudest near the dj booth, smh. For the money you’ll spend to enter and buy drinks yo watch people stand on the dance floor you’d be better off buying a few bottles at the house for company entertained by pandora on shuffle.

Saturday was my bud’s birthday, and his girl had planned a nice party for him at Taylor’s. I had never been, so I couldn’t wait to see what all the hype was about. Taylor’s serves a predominantly African American crowd on south post oak. It’s a strict 25 and up club as well. The club is huge. They have a lot of stuff. There is a full size putting green, and a full size regulation basketball court out back on the patio. There’s a deck, 2 bars, a huge vip room, a good size dancefloor and a d.j. Cover was $ 5, but included a ticket for a free, or reduced price drink depending on what you ordered. There were a TON of women and birthday parties Saturday night. A lot of women. By far, the best ratio I’ve seen in a bar in a while. The drink prices were ok. They have to be. This place is NOT bottlette friendly, they catch people sneaking liquor in all the time. The d.j. was good, he had all my old school hip hop favorites, mixed with some new stuff. Hmm.side note. When was the last time you were in a club or bar, and they played a slow song? When was the last time you grabbed a girl,(or guy) and danced close, and tried to cop a feel on her(or his) booty(lol)? Even if it is your wife etc? High school maybe? lol. Somewhere, going out stopped including slow dancing, grinding, etc, unless you’re in some fancy place with a piano or whatever. I vote bring back the slow or at least mid tempo song. Anyway, Taylor’s was a good time, and I can definitely see myself coming back here again.
