Tastee Pizza

Wholesome ingredients and great, sociable staff. The pizzas are awesome, the sauce is delicious although they don’t always add it evenly or put on enough sauce. They have a large menu, and many Halal items — which is great. The Halal chicken tenders are the best tenders I’ve had in Houston. Overall, I recommend Tastee Pizza to anyone who wants the best pizza for a few bucks– a large Pepperoni is only $ 5.99 — made fresh! This place should start delivering, that’s the only drawback. I’m glad I live 2 blocks away.

Damn good pizza! Can’t say enough about the flavor. I love this place. I highly recommend it if you are looking to try something different. Way better than Pizza Hut, Papa John, or even Domino’s!

Okay. If you’re looking for a place that serves pizza with an authentic desi masala taste, this is THE place to go to! I didn’t even think this was an option for my palate, but this place proved me wrong! Bombay pizza will be put to shame! We had the chicken tikka masala and beef Bihari pizza. Not to mention that this place is at such an affordable price point. If you’re looking for a flavorful pizza at an extremely reasonable price, you have to check this place out! Will be back!

We really enjoyed our food! The Chicken Tikka pizza, Peshawari Kabob pizza, Buffalo wings and Garlic Parmesan wings were phenomenal. Great option for zabiha take out and will definitely try again!

Good pizzas with wonderful indian/​paki style pizzas. We bought Beef bihari pizza. It was wonderful with perfect amount of spices and meat. Fresh veggies are used, can tell through the taste. I am however not fan of the cheese they use. We also got wings. Avoid the wings, because its just okay. Nothing wow about it.
Would definitely go again. Next Time will be trying the bombay vaji pao pijja

This pizza was a whole lot better than your pizza huts or pappa Johns. Fresh toppings and the hot wings were really good. Also price is affordabl.

This pizza is the best hope it never close and it expands. So many pizzas to choose but my favorite is the bacon pizza!

I came in not knowing what to expect but was hoping to try some interesting pizza combination. I found that the guy working wasn’t the best communicator as I told him I had never been here and wanted to try something unique. He suggested pepperoni. I said I wanted to try something that they were known for… so he points me towards the chicken tika pizza. I sat and waited and eventually it was ready (10 – 15 minutes). The pizza looked very nice and was pretty good, but it was a little too spicy for my tastes. If I come back I’ll give the pepperoni I try, perhaps I should have taken the hint.

THE BEST PIZZA! This is the only place we go for pizza. It is worth picking up! Fresh ingredients and amazing crust. And the prices are incredible!

If you’re looking for cheap eats that’s actually good, look no further than Tastee especially if pizza is on your mind.
The first time I came through, I ordered the Mickey…1 small pizza, 5 popcorn chicken pieces, and a can of soda. All of this for $ 6.00! It was not only «tasty», but who can beat that price?!
So I opted to return for another small pep and breadsticks ($ 7).
They offer great combos at decent prices, the other menu items are way reasonable, and the staff are pretty friendly.
I don’t work too far from Tastee, so I will add them to my Take-​Out list!
Definitely try it once! You won’t be disappointed!

It is better than ok. It is good!
The fried popcorn chicken is fine. Nice and crunchy and moist.
The pizza is not quiiiiite NY style, which is what they advertise. But the crust is on the thinner side. The cheese pizza is fine. The pizzas reheat very nicely in the oven.
But the winner for me is the chorizo pizza. Good, tasty chorizo, and fresh jalapeño instead of that pickled or canned stuff, so that you get a nice lively kick, without any vinegarey bogdown. The toppings aren’t super dense (but for the price, more than fair), but you can always ask for double toppings, which is also a good idea if you actually like spicy things.
I am STILL intrigued by the Halal pizzas, and I may be back to attempt some sort of chutney-​paneer-​chorizo monstrosity the next time I’m there.

I live a couple minutes from Tastee Pizza and have had it on 3 occasions now. Tried the standard Pepperoni pizza, spinach alfredo, and the Hawaiian pizza. I really enjoyed all 3. The guy who takes orders is very friendly. Note that this is a small place and not somewhere you can sit and eat, it’s strictly pick up.
It’s not the best pizza I’ve had, but it’s very solid and for the price (dirt cheap!) you cannot go wrong.

What a little gem located in a very multi cultural area. The owner/​operator was very friendly and seemed very genuine about serving us. The pizza we picked up was affordable and hit the spot. Most definitely returning.

I was really impressed by the pizzas from this place. Highly recommend the Mexican Chorizo with (ask for the fresh– not canned– jalapenos, if you like that sort of thing). Truthfully, they were all good. Their crust is far superior to the fast-​food chains and their cheese is noticeably better quality — real milk. I don’t know why anyone would go anywhere else if nearby. Even if you are not, call and see if they will deliver because their delivery range is pretty large. $ 5.99 for a Large cheese or pepperoni. It is a slightly Larger in size! than Little Ceasars $ 5 and much better quality. This is a true family run, neighborhood, homemade pizza of a gem with great service. I can’t wait to go back and try some more flavors — like the BBQ Chicken Pizza or the Fiesta Taco Pizza or Chicken Bacon Ranch! Wish their menu was online. Put some pix below but don’t know if you can read all of the descriptions. It has lots of options including sandwiches, calzones, and bread and cheese sticks with marinara sauce.

I’ve been loving this pizza ever since I came to USA! This is actually the first pizza I tasted when I got here! I love it, great price & good taste!

I have to give 5 stars for this pizza, especially because of the price. We are ordering for the second time tonight, and both times have gotten very courteous service and yummy pizza! We just moved to the area and are glad to find such a great pizza place with amazing prices.

This pizza is very «tastee» with a nice chewy crust and fresh toppings. Very reasonably priced. If I lived here, it would be a place to go all the time.

The pizza is awesome! It cost me about 6 dollars and the coca-​cola cost me 1.35!

I recently went to Houston to visit my cousin that had just moved there from NJ, and I was really craving a slice. Now being from the NY/​NJ area I’m guilty of being kind of a pizza snob so when my cousin recommended this place for pizza you could believe I was a little more than skeptical. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying good pizza outside the Tri-​state area doesn’t exist. I’m just saying you’ll have a damn hard time trying to find a decent slice.
I must admit though I was very pleasantly surprised with the pure quality of Tastee’s pizza. Although the restaurant name is now a misnomer since they only have takeout, the pizza definitely holds its own in unique sauce taste and sheer variety. My favorites were the spinach and alfredo pizza as well as the the tostada pizza. Next time, I’m definitely going to try the chutney pizza.
The service was great as well! They took our order and served us in less than 10−15min. This may be a family run place which is why it seemed to me like they really cared about their customers.
The ambiance may beg for a bit more character but honestly as long as they keep making great pizza I don’t care. Thanks Tastee for changing my mind about pizza outside the Tri-​state area! Now I’m back in NJ craving some Houston pizza. How ironic?
