My husband, 2 kids, and myself were stuck at the Houston international airport. The only great thing about our countless layovers, was Liz Sosa, the manager at the swatch store in terminal E. she kept the store open late, helped my husband and I choose the perfect watches, and was even great with our 2 small kids. Thanks Liz! Aurora Tames Austin, Texas

So there I was, strolling through George Bush intercontinental airport, keeping a wary eye out for electric carts intent on running me down.* I walked past a store, looked at it, thought«Huh, a Swatch store, well, I wonder OHWAITWHAT.» A Swatch store? A Swatch store! Hi, Swatch store. 1988 called and wants to say they miss you, but they hope you are happy here and now. It has been a couple and a half decades since I’d owned a Swatch, but a quick visit rectified that. They even still have the ones with no face where you can see the gears! I have since been back to buy another, because I’m apparently a total dork. I have gotten lots of compliments on both, mostly from people who know how to pronounce all the punctuation when they say«A Swatch store?!?» I will add a picture of one of the watches just so you can see the awesome. The staff there are great, by the way. They are eager to help, will pull a zillion Swatches off the wall to help you find just the right one, they are happy to adjust bands or whatever, and they are good about asking what time zone you want your watch set to. :) So go check them out! Or if you are lucky enough to not have to fly through IAH, you can even visit their website and buy there. * See my review of IAH decrying the chase-the-human games that the carts play
