Style Encore

I love this store I get all my work clothes here, I’m glad I found a resale shop that carries my size (: and the prices are the best part, really budget friendly.

This review is for the Willowbrook Mall outer ring location, not the downtown map location. The Style Encore is next to Plato’s Closet. Love this shop! Although it’s a little cramped, I found the selection to be current, and well displayed. They only carry slightly nicer things compared to GW or Family Thrift, and they had a great selection of designer handbags. Their prices are not as low as thrift shops, but more like a consignment store, which is what they are. But, if you aren’t in the mood to go sort through messy thrift shops, then this is the shop for you. I know that I’ll find something great in this shop. I last found a great vintage Dooney bucket bag and they had it priced at $ 49 which is comparable to EBay prices, but then they had it on clearance for half off! Lucky day for me as a Dooney collector. Very nice staff too. I was impressed when I walked up to the checkout desk and another woman walked up too, the staff jumped in to check us both out at separate counters. They value customer service! As Plato’s Closet, I’m 43 and I personally preferred Style Encore. Also, on the Unilocal description, they describe Style Encore as a plus size store. It has all sizes. I’m 5’1″ and very petite and saw plenty of small sizes.

Staff is nice and helpful

The staff was so kind & helpful. Great selection of clothes, perfect for finding work stuff and party dresses. I got a gorgeous Kate Spade dress which looked brand new for a great deal. Plus, with the value of my trade in (I brought a bag of clothes to sell to them), I only ended up spending $ 15 and I got 6 new dresses & 2 necklaces.
If you want any style tips, ask for Miss Lee to help you! She’ll pull cute stuff for you & make you feel like a million bucks when you try it on too! :)

This address is wrong! They are not in downtown! They are across from willowbrook mall!!! I never made it there!

This place has a great selection. I needed a simple button-​down shirt that didn’t so masculine. The perfect top with a spectacularly simple raised collar was on one of the displays, and Ms Lee was kind enough to take it down for me. It only cost me $ 7, and it looked perfect under my blazer. Of course I bought some other things while I was there, cause for that price… why not???

Great selection. Great staff. This is the grown up version of Plato’s closet and while it may not be on MY personal beaten path, I’m happy to make the hike.
