Omg the chicken over rice was so good. We had sticky’s catered at our annual company party, and my only regret being not also getting a side order of wings. I actually wish there was more rice and less chicken, but that is likely because I’m a chinaman.

This food truck is pretty good, It’s just always a big hassle to get food from them. The other day they tweeted that they were open until 2 am at Kirby ice house. So I drove 25 miles to get there, but when I got there, at 7:30 pm, they told me they closed down because it was too slow, And one of the employees was rude about the situation. They also didn’t update their Twitter until 9 pm. Another one of my friends drove from Katy to look for them just to find them closed at 845ish. Besides that, their stickys chicken over rice is pretty delicious. I give this truck 3 stars because it’s such a hassle to eat here. So note to self don’t make this truck one of your favorites in town because you probably won’t ever really get to eat there like you can at ohmygogi, which regularly updates their Twitter about their whereabouts.

Sticky’s was a quick fix after studying at Inversion. I got their chicken over rice and added two wings as a side. The chicken over rice was slathered in sauce — and not in a good way. I wish that the rice tasted more garlicky but instead was just overwhelmed by the sauce. I would recommend the wings over the chicken over rice though.

had the chicken over rice with extra wings on top for about $ 11. got a little cafeteria boat of soy-sauce rice and some grilled chicken overly drizzled with mayo and soy sauce. maybe its not my type of food but it tasted way salty and too much sauce. there was a nice amount of chicken(in proportion to the boat) and it was cooked nicely. the wings were nice and crunchy and in a soy-teriyaki sauce as well, but those were pretty good. would not have tried if they weren’t parked in front of Inversion. as far as prices go, i would probably try something different/cheaper next time. maybe this is alot of others’ taste preference, but i couldn’t finish my tiny portion even splitting with a friend.

I’ve been to this truck like 4 times in the last two weeks and I absolutely love it. The chicken over rice with a fried egg is soooo good which is currently my favorite thing to order. The wings were the first thing I tried and they’re the reason I keep coming back. Not only is the food really awesome, the two guys who work there are super chill. So if you’re in the mood for some good food that’s being sold by some really awesome guys, I definitely recommend Sticky’s Chicken!

The truck was just calling my name, as I stared at it from the window of Inversion Coffee on a long night of studying. I ended up coming back on another day just to check it out. Sticky’s Chicken is growing to become one of the most popular food trucks in Houston. I was hearing a lot about it, so I was pretty excited to check it out. We did some research and REALLY wanted to try the sliders that came on toasted Hawaiian rolls. They ended up being sold out of those. We called ahead(twice) to make sure that they were in full stock and to ask about location/hours, but they didn’t answer their phone. We ended up having to call Inversion and verify that the truck was open. 1) The nuggets — really dry and hard to eat. 2) The wings — GOOD. We should’ve gotten two orders. 3) Chicken over rice — tasty Make sure you get Karrueche sauce drizzled over everything. They have a white sauce that’s really good too, I forgot it’s name. The 2 men working there were super friendly!

Man o man this place is the bomb. If you are in Houston, you have to give this place a shot. Located in montrose most of the week, there food is made from sweet love. I’d recommend the egg on top and rice or sticks with extra sauce because it’s so awesome. The ppl are the nicest I’ve ever met and I didn’t even tip. I’ll tip for sure next time just to make it up. Will go again. Place is one of the best food trucks for sure!

I had the wings tonight and they were on point. They have a perfect crunch and taste. The chicken was cooked throughout and they were fresh. The rice was pretty good too. I’ll be back.

I was really torn on what rating to give this place! After all the great reviews, my expectations were just a bit higher than my experience. I rounded up to a four, but I think I need to try it again to justify. I ended up ordering the Sticky’s Sticks — French fries with chicken and sauces on top. I have to say, the combination of sauces was pretty good! My drawback, though, is that the chicken was a little dry. With all of the positive reviews on the chicken, I thought it would be much better. Next time I’ll try the chicken and rice since that’s what everyone seems to love. No complaints on the service — the woman taking orders was nice and the food came out fast. Gluten Free: I always order items that should inherently be gluten free. I asked if anything was gluten free and they said they didn’t know fore sure… take that as you will.

So so so good and priced even better. I tried these guys at an event and wow. I ordered the nuggets they were delicious and I hope to find them again to try a different dish. You won’t be disappointed.

Sticky’s Chicken was parked outside of The League gym for it’s grand opening this past Sunday. After a 10 mile ride, I was in dire need of sustenance. The girl taking orders was really friendly(which added to the experience). She made some awesome recommendations, so I decided to try the Sticky’s wings with the Karrueche fries. Both were extrememly delicious, the wings were seasoned to perfection. Next time, I plan on trying the Sticky’s chicken over garlic rice. I’ll be checking their calendar or social media accounts for daily locations, hoping they’re in my area. I would rate this food truck the best in Houston.

It was ok. To be honest a little overpriced for only 5 menu items. Bit the chicken and rice tasted good. I would suggest you get that if you really ate trying to taste their food. Well seasoned though. They shut the window on me so I’m sightly salty

Went to have a few drinks at the Marquis II and Sticky’s Chicken was there! I’ve had their fries before to-go and it was alright, but this time it was way better since it was hot and fresh. –Sticky’s Chicken over Rice —(4⁄5) The rice is what really makes it, the garlicky rice with seems to be chicken breast and all their yummy sauces to top it all off. We also added a fried egg fully cooked, super yummyy! –Sticky’s Sticks —(4⁄5) I actually liked the rice one more, but the fries are good too. The fries aren’t bland which is what I love about it. Crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside, right amount of chicken and sauce! They aren’t selfish on the ingredients either. As for the service, they are really nice and even brought the food to us when we were inside the bar. Great service, great food, makes a great fan!

I’ve had Sticky’s Chicken a couple of times. It’s definitely one of the better food truck options in the Houston scene. Overall I’ve been disappointed by Houston food trucks. Too much fusion and expense and not enough delicious, filling meals. However, Sticky’s overcomes that. For $ 7 I had their nuggets and split their $ 4 seasoned fries. All was delicious and very filling. Friendly service and conveniently located on Montrose. Anytime I pass by Sticky’s I’m tempted to stop by. Worth checking out!

I finally had a chance to try Sticky’s Chicken this Sunday while they were parked in the parking lot of Wooster’s. We went with Sticky’s strips, Sticky’s chicken over rice with a fried egg, and Sticky’s sticks. I was too full to try the chicken over rice so I won’t comment on that. Sticky’s strips are basically boneless chicken wings in a sweet and tangy sauce. Nice flavor but they were slightly burned. Sticky’s sticks are fries smothered in a cilantro aoli and topped off with chicken. Solid dish right there too. Cool-looking food truck too!

Best late night indulgence I’ve had since moving here to Houston. This food truck was in Proof bar on the way out. I got the Sticky Sticks which is their version of chili cheese fries but so much better. Its fries with chicken, and cheese, and this sauce that tastes like chorizo, and a fried egg on top. I love fried eggs on stuff. It looked good and based on my reactions, everyone in our group ended up getting a fork and digging in. The best part was that they were there at such a convenient time and place… it was genius. It hit the spot! I will be looking for these guys outside the bar scene.
