Stopped by first time to grab a quick sandwich for lunch, and found this place clean and neat. People there are nice, apparently, new owner, and had a good variety of hot and cold sandwitches on menu, besides breakfast menus. Close by I-10, but did not have any parking problem for eat in.

After the owner changed, I could really see a difference at this place. It is cleaner, nicer, and the food is way better and fresher! Staff is also super friendly. Absolutely love everything on the menu. This place is a must if you are in this area. I highly recommend it

Although the carnivore food is okay, there are not many reasonable vegetarian options. The price for a small soup and small salad(no meat) is $ 7.49 — more than the price of the carnivore daily special(hot dish, 2 sides, and a drink). It’s the same story if you ask for a side order of vegetables: onion rings are $ 2.69, but a side of zucchini is $ 5.49.

Deli needs update, looks like in the 70’s decoration.

The people that work at this deli are beyond irritating. Every single thing you ask of them they either don’t listen to or just plainly don’t understand. When ordering a salad at the counter I have to virtually repeat every ingredient as they either can’t be bothered to listen to what I say or just don’t understand what I’m saying. Also the manager(I assume who she is on the checkout)… She tried to sneak additional charges(in terms of toppings) on the salad a few times over the last few weeks when I haven’t ordered them. Today I said ‘Bottle of Coke Zero’ to her 3 times and she still didn’t understand what I was asking of her. Between this place and Panera up the road I’m not sure what’s more irritating.
