The only thing I ever eat at shipleys as the cream filled donut and this place had only like a half a teaspoon of cream in the donut! Rip off! what I’m looking for is one that’s stuffed nice and full of cream, I mean goodness how much is the cream like 5c to make??? It certainly makes you feel like they’re skimping on the filling to save money. I was terribly disappointed in a rush and looking forward to that creamy goodness. I tore the donut open and ate the two bites that had cream in them and threw the rest of the dough away. I don’t need the calories anyway, it was probably a good thing there wasn’t much filling lol

My boyfriend & I stopped by Shipley’s on our way through Houston back to Dallas. He’s from Houston so Shipley’s is his favorite donut shop. Nothing else will ever come close to Shipley’s to him. There’s a few Shipley’s in Dallas but according to him they’re «not like the ones in the H.»
I enjoyed my choices and the staff were pretty friendly and helpful (and patient because everything looked and smelled so good, I wanted one of everything lol). Pretty solid choice for donuts or kolaches!

This Shipley’s donuts store is located on Shepherd. I stop here a lot when picking up donuts for office meetings. The staff is always friendly and quick with my order and the donuts always have that fresh delicious taste.
BOTTOM LINE: A solid place for picking up some tasty donuts.
