The best dentist and technicians around! I was in and out for a cleaning before my coffee got cold and with no pain. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. I have recommended them to all of my friends as this is the first dentist that I don’t dread going to!

I am so happy to have found such a great dentist in Houston! I hate my teeth, and get really anxious around new dentists/​dental hygienists. These guys treat you like family from the moment you want in the door.

The staff are warm and friendly and always do a good job. They’ll fit you with whitening trays for free if you ask. The waiting room is elegant and cozy and I’m usually in and out within 30 minutes for cleanings.
Dr. Rodgers is good at what he does, full of energy, and has a great sense of humor. Usually I’m too busy joking around to be nervous about all the teeth-​poking he’s doing. Highly recommend!

You should know that I hate the dentist. I do not mean just that I do not like to go to the dentist but that I HATE it. As in it is a pathological fear.
But Dr. Rogers is great — he is understanding without being patronizing. He also does very good work and does not try to force unnecessary work on to you.
The staff and front desk are also very good and they will send you a text to remind you about your appointment.

I like this dentist’s office, so much that I travel into the Galleria area traffic for an appointment. The place is situated right off Post Oak, in the same complex as Champs Sports Bar (end of complex). Dr Rodger’s is younger than my previous dentist but far more sociable (which I prefer over stuffy). He spends some time with you, but his dental hygienist does most of the work. The DH is why I really like this place, she is so thorough. I felt like she spent a good amount of time cleaning and then flossing my teeth. Also, they have installed TVs in the dentist chair, so you can get Dr. OZ on while getting your teeth cleaned (I just watched what was already playing). Anywho, if you’re looking for a dentist and you live/​work/​play nearby, give it a try. I think they also do free teeth whitening for new patients.

I was looking for a new dentist after moving from Clear Lake to the Heights. After some googling, I found this place and decided to give them a try. One of the first things wrong with this place is that no one greets you as you walk in. They can see you and know you walked in, but they’re too busy talking amongst themselves or doing something on the computers to even look up and acknowledge you.
Second problem with this dentist office is the loooong wait. I’ve been here for cleanings twice. The first time I waited about 20 minutes before getting called back.
The second time it wasn’t quite as long, but if you think the waiting is over just because you get called back, do not be fooled. Both cleanings had me waiting at LEAST 20 minutes in the chair (after the assistant came through) to see the actual dentist. Also, they apparently only do real cleanings ONCE a year. Everywhere else I’ve gone in my life, you get two cleanings (with polish) per year. At my second cleaning, they told me that I have to make sure and let them know that I want a full cleaning ahead of time because otherwise they just scrape for plaque. What the heck?
So during my 2^nd visit there, I was told I had a cavity. DAMMIT. First cavity in over ten years. I was bummed. I was then told that because of the location of the cavity, they needed to use an inlay vs a traditional filling, which naturally costs more. I paid about an extra $ 100 for the inlay because they told me it was the best option and would last much longer. Flash forward 6 months, the inlay comes OUT. So much for long lasting. I called, and they got me in very quickly. Dr. Moore put a sealant on it and said that should do it. The next morning, it came out again. I wasn’t having any sensitivity, so I put off going in for a little over a week. When I did go in, I was told they would have to do the traditional filling now since the inlay wasn’t holding up. GREAT. So I essentially just flushed $ 100 down the drain. The cavity was refilled and it’s been a couple months at this point and I’m still experiencing some sensitivity when I bite down on certain foods (might I remind you I had NO sensitivity when the filling was out completely).
I have never experienced this before and it’s enough to make me never go back. Why would I? (I should add though, that once you’re signed in and all the staff that you do talk to are all very nice and helpful.) Long waits (they overbook by a LOT so the dentist is constantly leaving you to go work on someone else) and, in my experience, the dental work performed was shoddy, at best. Next dentist I go to will probably have to fix the filling I’m so unhappy with.

I am very happy with the quality of service of this dentist office… it’s a big deal for me to be happy with a dentist because they usually scare me to death but for the first timeever I was actually looking forward to my dentist appointment. They do a such a great job and everyone is so friendly and welcoming… they treated me as if they’ve known me for years. The dentist is super nice too… he was even interested in hearing about my upcoming cruise. The office is convenient (at least for me anyway) and not to mention it’s VERY clean and upscale, yet their prices are reasonable. They have all sorts of cool gadgets too. I had been looking for a new dentist for quite some time and I’m so glad I found this one.

It had been many, many years since I’d last been to the dentist. If I were prone to hyperbole, I would say it had been eons, because I really don’t remember the last time I’d been. Well, my last recollection was something like 6 – 8 years ago, but that sounds like a ridiculously long time. In any case, I realized it’d been a really long time, and was freaking out that my mouth was a seething morass of cavities, especially after I realized I couldn’t feel the full surface of one of my molars (a hole! AHHHH!). I could no longer see my pediatric dentist, so I got all up on a groupon (not Groupon) deal for x-​rays, a check-​up, and cleaning.
When making the appointment, the friendly receptionist proceeded to give me directions to the office. Whatevs, that was two weeks away. Guys, if you go here, pay attention to the directions. Finding this office is no joke. I would detail them, but, yeah, no clue. I was five minutes late for my appointment. I then waited half an hour and saw someone else get called in a few minutes after she’d arrived before I decided to go to the restroom. All told, I waited around 40 minutes before they sat me down in a dentist’s chair. Some more waiting, as the nurse did… something. Once my x-​rays were taken care of, the cleaning and examination took less than ten minutes. I remember my teeth cleanings taking longer when I was a child, and there was less teeth and fewer teeth to clean. When I’d made the appointment, I’d asked the receptionist how long the appointment would take. An hour, she had said. She was right.
This isn’t a particularly comprehensive review, as I didn’t need any dental work. The dentist, who was quite friendly, said that I had no cavities, my teeth were in great condition, my teeth looked great, etc., etc. However, the waiting, especially for someone with a first appointment (good impressions, no?), the fast cleaning (just plaque-​scraping, no toothpasting), and likely mondo-​high costs without my groupon (given the location) means this would get two stars, but the dentist did the cleaning himself, so three stars.
I had a funny conversation with a friend before my check up. He told me it was gross that I hadn’t seen a dentist in ages, and when I enumerated my dental hygiene habits, his reaction was something along the lines of, «Flossing? Huh?» (Similar reaction to moisturizing at night.) Him: four cavities at last check up. Me: zero, but I floss and tongue scrape religiously, and it takes me 5 – 10 minutes for me to brush my teeth at night (up to 20 if I get distracted by the TV show I’m watching – I always watch something online while I brush my teeth). Even after being slightly boozed up, I have to do these things (I’ve fallen asleep with a tooth brush in my mouth and have gotten up after an hour to finish my brushing). I suppose my awesome teeth (barring the slight overbite I have; I had gotten a retainer for in the eighth grade, but had lost after a few months, and my parents refused to get me a new one, despite the fact that I had – seriously – had to hop in a dumpster and dig through it in an effort to find my retainer) make up for my shitty eyes (glasses in the first grade, hard contacts in the fourth, you look sexy if I don’t have any corrective eyewear on).
