Originally we liked the Houston area Senior Helpers; the caregiver they sent to help my father was very friendly and helpful. However, they are now under new ownership. Today the new owner met with my family to inform us that their rates have gone up, as have the minimum number of hours. Time to find a new caregiving company — one that actually cares about its customers. You’ve basically doomed my mother to staying at home doing nothing outside of the house, since she’s unwilling to pay your exorbitant rates. I’m extremely disappointed in the new ownership.
