Sarita’s Bakery

Fast and quick service, place didnt really seem that clean but the prices were decent and the food was alright. We had purchase their barbacoa special, it tasted A-​ok, but for the quality/​price we would probably have enjoyed tacos from somewhere else better. However the pastries were all excellent.

the hot chicken & egg breakfast tacos were big and real good and the do-​nut i had today was good, as well.

Saturday morning and I was a bit hungry after attempting a meal at La Jalisciense (that didn’t turn out so well for myself :/​) so I stepped into the bakery to get a yummy yummy Mexican treat.
The room smelled of plane old YUM and there were several people hangin’ out inside that seemed to be friends with the girl behind the counter. We were greeted with a smile and were in and out quickly.
The food was fresh and tasty (I really love Mexican bakeries because even though I have a sweet tooth I don’t like overpowering sugar or sugar comas).
The selection wasn’t as big as some of the places I have been around town but there were a decent amount of sweets to choose from.
CASH ONLY — but really, I’m sure you have enough change in the car to grab something small if you pass this place
