The Sam Houston tollway is so convenient sometimes. But other times it gets really congested. Rush hour going north is a beast and when it hits the i10 exit even worst.
Most people find it absurd to pay for driving in the tollway. I find that it’s less stressful. So I rather pay for a peace of mind.
