Great place to shop for quality woodworking supplies and tools. Nice selection of wood some great live edge pieces. Also decent selection of thin stock for a scroller like myself.
I do not go into the city without making a trip there.

Small specialty store for those hard to find woodworking supplies. This isn’t Lowe’s or Home Depot so you won’t get lost amongst the aisles, but it is an ideal place for avid woodworking hobbyists. The fine older gentlemen working here are very charming and helpful. You can tell they love their job and decided to work here for pure pleasure and not because they had no other choice.
They have an extensive selection of hand planes, stains, tools as well as some of the top of the line electrical woodworking equipment here, amongst many other supplies. They are located conveniently off the 59 feeder going north bound.

While it’s a chain, this nice hardware store probably the best in Houston for your woodworking needs. So, veer away from Home Depot and Lowe’s Hardware and come here instead. ‘Nuff said.
