Rina’s Hair Salon

When my eyebrows begin to look thick, shaggy, and unmanageable, to the point where I can no longer face the world– I haul ass to Rina’s Hair Salon in the Harwin district for threading! Eyebrows are everything to me. They set the tone for your face, so finding someone who knows how to thread them «right» is essential! That someone for me at Rina’s is Asha! OMG. Love, love, love her! She does an awesome job with my brows– hence my loyalty in having been a customer of hers for about 2 years now.
Asha is the Indian lady who’s chair is at the first booth when you walk into the salon. She knows what she’s doing and takes direction very well! I’ve made the mistake of trying new threaders a couple times just to switch it up, but always found myself coming back to Asha. Whereas other threaders would fall short on not shaping and/​or not defining my brows enough (even after giving specific instructions) Asha’s threading style incorporates both– good shaping & good definition! I had a horrible experience at another place where the lady did my brows waaaay too thin. I was devastated! I went back to Asha a few weeks later and told her about my experience. She was able to nurse my brows back to their original shape as they were growing back over the next few visits. Life. Saver. Whew! In addition to eyebrow threading, she also does facial threading. I get upper lip and chin threading done and she is 100% on that too! And get this– total for all 3 services= $ 14.00!!! Say whaaaaat??? Yes! You cannot beat that price with an egg beater– great work for a helluva good price! Quick tip: She does not accept credit or debit cards, so bring cash with you.
There are other ladies that thread here as well that I’ve gone to when Asha wasn’t there (which is rare because she is usually always in unless she is out of the country) and they were just, okay. Alright, maybe I’m being a little bias, but Asha is my «go-​to» person and I can truly say she is the best threader at Rina’s! She gets it right every single time which speaks volumes. I guarantee if you let her know how you like your brows done, she will deliver!
